        Metals such as stainless steel and alloy 600 are used as structures and materials in nuclear power plants due to their excellent mechanical properties and heat resistance. And recently thermal and mechanical cutting technologies are being actively researched and developed for dismantling NPP. Among them, the mechanical cutting method has the advantage of less secondary waste generation such as fume and fine dust, but according to the wider the cutting range, the reaction force and the cutting device size are increased. In this paper, plasma assisted milling has been proposed to reduce the reaction force and device size, and the plasma efficiency was measured for SUS 316L. The plasma torch was operated at the level of 3 to 4 kW so that it was heated only without cutting. And the feedrate was set at 150 to 250 mm/min. The test confirmed that the plasma efficiency was 35% about SUS 316L, and it is expected that the numerical analysis using these test results can be used as basic data for plasma assisted milling.

        In this study, the microstructure and valuable metals dissolution properties of PDP waste panel powders were investigated as a function of milling parameters such as ball diameter size, milling time, and rotational speed during high-energy milling process. The complete refinement of powder could achieved at the ball diameter size of 5 mm due to sufficient impact energy and the number of collisions. With increasing milling time, the average particle size was rapidly decreased until the first 30 seconds, then decreased gradually about at 3 minutes and finally, increased with presence of agglomerated particles of at 5 minutes. Although there was no significant difference on the size of the particle according to the rotational speed from 900 to 1,100 rpm, the total valuable metals dissolution amount was most excellent at 1,100 rpm. As a result, the best milling conditions for maximum dissolving amount of valuable metals (Mg: 375 ppm, Ag 135 ppm, In: 17 ppm) in this research were achieved with 5 mm of ball diameter size, 3min of milling time, and 1,100 rpm of rotational speed.

        By the strengthening of sewage treated quality law and the amount of sewage sludge every year is increasing in Korea. However, it is difficult to disposal of sewage sludge due to ocean dumping restriction. As an alternative to this, drying, incineration, anaerobic digestion etc. is applied, which is uneconomical in most be processed by the consumption of energy. In particular, anaerobic digestion technology has been installed in the sewage treatment 65 plats in Korea’s STP(sewage treatment plant). It is most of the digestion efficiency requires the application of improved technology to less than 50%. As an improvement technology for most anaerobic digester, ultrasonic, electronic beam, ozone etc. solubilization method using has been mainly used. Therefore, in this study, after the wet milling particles of sludge to subject the sludge that has not been decomposed in the digested sludge circulating fluid of anaerobic digestion, was let examine the characteristic at the time of ozonation. The size of the particles before and after the wet milling, which is the measurement at each 105.26 μm and 77.18 μm, solubilization rate is increased to 23.5%. When ozonation after wet milling using sludge is determined as possible to improve the efficiency.

        본 연구는 립선별기에서 미숙립 선별능력을 높임으로써 도정효율 증진과 완전미율 향상을 꾀하고자 품종특성을 고려한 립선별기 선별체 최적 조건 구명 시험이 수행되었고, 다음과 같은 결과가 얻어졌다. 1. 립선별기의 선별능력은 현미립 두께에 절대적으로 의존되었는데, 조사된 시험재료의 현미 평균 두께는 1.79(농안)-2.16 mm(대립벼1호)의 분포를 보였다. 2. 품종별 차이는 있었으나, 대체적으로 현미의 평균 립두께가 2.08 mm이상일 경우 1.9 mm 선별체, 2.00-2.08 mm 범위일 경우 1.8 mm 선별체, 1.90-2.00 mm 범위일 경우 1.7mm 선별체, 그 이하일 경우 1.7 mm 이하의 선별체가 정립 손실을 최소화하면서(0.1%이내) 완전미율을 향상시킬 수 있는 조건인 것으로 판단되었다. 3. 백미 품위에 미치는 선별체 분리효과는 미숙립 비율이 높은 품종일수록 크게 발휘되었다. 4. 현미선별 체 눈 크기를 0.1 mm씩 증가시킬 경우 품종별로 현미선벌체 통과물중에 정상립이 포함되어 발생되는 정상립 손실율이 0.5% 수준까지는 현미선별체 눈금크기 증가에 따라 미미하게 증가하였으나, 이 눈금 수준이상에서는 선별체 눈금 0.1 mm 증가에 따라 정상립의 손실율이 급격히 증가하는 것으로 보아 정상립 손실율 0.5% 수준의 눈금이나 그 보다 0.05~0.10 mm 아래 눈금의 선별체가 적당할 것으로 생각되었다.
