        산지별로 채취된 쌀, 보리, 밀에 함유된 잔류농약(유기수은제 및 유기감소제)을 Dithizone법과 GLC법으로 비교분석한 바 이에서 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. Recovery는 유기수은에 있어서 TLC법.에 비하여 GLC법이 양호했고, 유기감소제는 GLC법으로 평균 약 였다. 2. 시료중 유기수은의 잔류수준은 Dithizone법으로 쌀에 있어서 ND-0.053, .보리는 ND-0.051, 밀은 ND-0.033pm이었고, GLC법으로는 쌀은 trace(less than 0.002ppm)-0.036, 보리는 trace-0.030, 밀은 trace-0.025ppm으로 GLC법이 다소 낮은 수치였다. 3. 유기감소제의 잔류수준은 GLC법으로, 쌀에 있어서 BHC(trace-0.0090ppm), DDT(ND-0.0001ppm), Aldrin(trace-0.0032ppm), Heptachlor(race-0.0031ppm), Dieldrin(ND-0.0092ppm), Endrin(ND-0.0057ppm)이었는데, 수은화합물과 모두 공인최대허용량에 월등히 미달되는 안전수준이었다. 4. Column packing은 유기수은분리에는 -DEGS/chromosorb-W,A,W., 유기감소제에는 -DC-200/chromosorb-W,A.W.,가 적당하였는데, 유기수은제의 injection sample의 조제에 있어서 ?를 겸한 정제와 reduced glutatione에 의한 유출처리는 ghost peak의 소거와 성분 peak의 완전분리에 효과가 컸으며 검출감도도 높았다.

        최근 농작물에 대한 각종 선충류의 피해가 주목되어 있는 실성에 비추어 필자는 선충류연구의 기초적 과제로서 온실내의 화훼류 근부에서 발견되는 선충류 중 농업상 비교적 중요하다고 인정되는 종류와 그밖에 몇 종류에 대하여 형태적인 특징을 기술하였다. 즉 취급된 종류들은 다음과 같다. 1. Meloidogyne arenaria Chitwood 2. Scutellonema coheni Andrassy 3. Paurodontus gracilis Thorne 4. xiphinema americaum Cobb 5. Rhabditis sp 6. Cephalobus sp 7, Diplogaster sp 그리고 이상 7종류의 기주식물 및 기생정도를 보면 Meloidogyne arenaria Chitwood는 Begonia에 만 기생하였고 그밖에 화훼류에는 기생을 볼수 없었다. Scutellonema choeni Andrassy는 꽃치자, 소펄, 이마리 리스, 제브리나에 가장 많이 발견되었고, Paurodonthus gracilis Thorne는 동백나무, 청목. 지내고사리, 카네이션, 충에서 가장 많이 발견되었다. 그리고 Xiphinema americanum Coob는 산호수, 서향, 코피나무, 시크라맨, 용설란, 동백 등에서만 발견되었으나 그중에 용설란, 동백에서 가장 많이 볼 수 있었다. Rhabditis sp.는 초본류 화훼류의 대부분에서 발견되었으나 그중에도 산세배리아에서 가장 많았다 Diplogaster sp는 대부분의 화훼류에서 발견되었으며 그중에 크로톤에 비교적 많았다. Cephalobus sp.는 전반적으로 발견되었으며 발견정도는 모두 비슷하였다. Monhystera app. , Mononchus spp. , Dorylaimus app. 등도 조사란 과반수의 화훼류들에서 발견되었으나 특히 많이 발견되는 화훼류는 없었다. 이상 선충류중 근류를 형성하여 피해가 가장 주목되는 Mceloidogyne arenaris Chitwood에 대해서 온실내에서 그의 유일한 기주식물인 Begonia의 품종별 기생정도를 비교조사한 결과 semperflorens 품종에 가장 기생률이 높았고 metarica 품종은 중정도였으며 erytholopylla와 argento-guttata 품종들에는 기생이 없었다. 이 점은 매우 의의있는 사실로서 앞으로 더욱 연구할 과제로 삼았다. 끝으로 Sanceberia에서 많이 발견되는 Rhabditis sp를 , , , 의 동온도별의 incubator에서 사육한 결과 본 종의 생육적온이 라는 사실을 알았다.

        In the case of solid refuse fuel manufacturing facilities, residues, which are left-over from the process, are buried at a rate of 34% of incoming amount, and some are disposed of by combustion. The residues were upgraded by mechanical biological treatment and subject to attempts at combustion, and the bottom ash generated from combustion tests was applied to fabricate bricks for recycling. The brick was manufactured by substitutions of stone powder, cement, sand ranging from by 3 to 30% according to experimental conditions. These could be used as an interlocking block for the sidewalk or open spaces. The basic characteristics of the bottom ash and the water absorption, bending strength, compressive strength, and dimensions of the mixed bricks were tested. Results showed that 10% of the stone powder substitution was regarded as an optimal condition, and the brick quality was satisfactory under given standards, because the pozzolanic and hydration reactions occurred effectively.

        In this study, to cope with the renewable portfolio standard system, a thermochemical process was applied to coffee residues. After the basic thermal characteristics analysis, it was judged that the gasification process could be applied because the volatile matter in coffee residues was high. The temperature and equivalent air ratio were set by using the data and the gasification characteristics with varying equivalent ratios were evaluated. Also, the experiments were conducted in a downdraft fixed bed reactor which was easy to operate and generates less tar. The best experimental results at equivalent ratio of 0.3 were obtained with syngas composition, lower heating value of product gas, gas yield, and tar yield of 16.94%, 1,410 kcal/Nm3, 2.04 Nm3/kg and 33.33 mg/L respectively. Also, cold gas efficiency and carbon conversion rate as the most important indicators of gasifier performance were 63.83% and 88.59% respectively. Comparing the gasification characteristics with sawdust in the same reactor, the value of coffee residue was higher in the cold gas efficiency but the amount of tar was higher. However, we could apply the gasification technology to coffee residues if we carried out studies to improve the gasification efficiency and to reduce the amount of tar. Furthermore, we take into consideration the fact that the supply of coffee residues was insufficient to use as a single feedstock and the consequent necessity to study the means of using it with other available fuel materials.

        최근 산업발전에 따른 폐기물의 발생량과 재활용되지 못하고 매립되는 폐기물이 증가하고 있다. 우리나라는 국토환경의 제약에 따라 매년 증가하는 폐기물에 대해 “미처리폐기물의 매립제로화를 주요과제로 추진하고 있다. 또한 2035년까지 재활용가능 폐기물의 직매립을 금지하고, 에너지 회수를 통한 온실가스 감축과 매립처분율 1% 이하의 정책목표를 달성하고자 한다. 본 연구는 고형연료화 시설에서 발생하는 잔재물의 매립최소화를 위한 연구로, 고형연료의 생산수율 향상과 발생 잔재물에 대한 효율적 관리를 위해 4개 사업장의 생활폐기물 고형연료시설 잔재물에 대한 국내・외 평가항목과 적정 관리 기준을 알아보고자 하였다. 우리나라는 현장적용 및 측정분석의 용이함과 데이터의 신뢰도 및 재현성을 고려할 때 생물학적 지표보다 화학적 지표로 발열량과 탄소(C)함량의 기준이 적절할 것으로 판단되며, 적용기준의 수준은 유럽연합과 유사한 정도에서 우선적으로 검토하여야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 또한 보다 편리한 시험방법의 적용이 필요한 경우 삼성분 분석에 따른 가연성분(VS)의 함량기준을 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었고, 생물기원 물질 (바이오매스) 함량의 지표로 용해선별법(SDM)시험방법도 아울러 검토하였다.

        세계 제강산업의 연간 생산량은 약 1,600만 톤이며 이 중 약 40%가 폐철을 원료로 하는 전기제강로(Electric Arc Furnace)에서 생산된다. 이 전기로에서 발생하는 전기로 제강분진(Electric Arc Furnace Dust)은 카드뮴, 납 등의 유해중금속을 포함하고 있어 지정폐기물로 분류되어 고비용으로 처리하고 있다. 반면 철, 아연 등 재활용가능 금속 또한 30~60% 정도로 다량 함유하고 있어 재활용 공정에 대한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. EAFD는 원료의 특성 상 다양한 성상으로 존재하며, EAFD 내 원소의 광물학적 존재 형태에 따라 공정 변수가 달라진다. 따라서 최근은 EAFD 성상을 고려하여 아연과 철의 회수율을 높이는 다 단계 습식공정에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 전기로 제강분진 내 아연과 철의 분리 회수를 위한 다단계 공정 중 산 용출을 통해 아연을 회수한 후 남은 잔여물(residues)을 대상으로 자석을 이용하여 철 성분의 선택 분리 효과에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 아연 회수 후 잔여물의 철 함량을 높일 수 있다면 전기제강로로 재투입하여 제강원료로의 재사용이 가능하다. 자석분리 공정을 통하여 분리된 고체물질에는 고액비에 관계없이 85%의 철이 회수되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 반해 칼슘은 고액비에 영향을 받았으며 고액비(kg/L)가 20일 때 약 85%의 칼슘이 분리되었다. 또한 자석분리공정은 황산칼슘 및 황산납의 분리에도 효과적임을 확인하였다. 이 공정을 통해 아연 회수 후 분진 잔여물의 철 순도를 높여 전기제강로로 재투입하여 아연 회수 뿐 아니라 분진 중 철의 재활용 또한 가능하게 할 것으로 보인다.

        With the increase in food consumption, the amount of animal and plant residues in food manufacturing has continued to increase. In particular, the residues generated from food manufacturing industries have a high recycling value because they are generated in large quantities, are homogeneous, and their recycling costs are less than that of households or small restaurants. In this study, we selected industries that produce large amounts of homogeneous animal and plant residues, including manufacturers of animal oils and fats, vegetable oils and fats, starches and glucose or maltose, and conducted material flow analysis using statistical data, field surveys, and questionnaires. In the results of material flow analysis, the amount of raw materials used in the surveyed industries was 3,029,830 tons per year, and 8,487 tons of animal and plant residues were generated through manufacturing and processing. In addition, the import substitution effect of recycling byproducts from industries into animal feed or similar was estimated to be ₩847,007 million KRW per year.

        식품제조업에서 발생하는 동식물성잔재물은 발생량이 많고 성상이 균질하여 재활용에 유리하다. 동 폐기물을 재활용할 때 경제성이 있는 것은 배출업체와 재활용업체가 협력하여 재활용이 효율적으로 이루어지고 있으나 발생량이 적고, 영양성분의 함량이 높지 않은 업체의 폐기물은 경제성이 낮아 원활히 재활용되지 못하고 있다. 폐기물배출업체는 재활용에 따른 환경보전 효과보다는 처리비용 절감을 중요시하기 때문에 사료원료로 쓰일 수 있는 것이 퇴비원료로 사용되거나 퇴비원료로 사용할 수 있는 것이 소각이나 해역배출 등으로 처리되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 식품제조업에서 발생하는 동・식물성잔재물의 배출과 재활용 및 처리실태, 유통 현황을 파악하고 재활용 활성화 대책을 마련하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 식품제조업체 중 다량 발생하는 업종인 동식물성유지제조업과 전분 및 당류제조업을 선정하여 대상 업종에서 발생하는 폐기물(부산물)의 발생원단위를 파악하였고, 이를 통해 대상 업종별 물질흐름도(Material Flow Analysis) 작성을 통해 국내 전체의 물질흐름을 추정하였다. 또한 해당업종에서 발생하는 동식물성잔재물을 재활용함으로써 현재 사료용으로 수입되고 있는 품목에 대한 수입대체효과를 산출하였고, 일선 현장에서의 폐기물의 발생, 처리, 재활용 실태를 조사하였다. 조사결과를 통해 동식물성잔재물의 세부 분류번호를 보완하는 방안과 재활용 가능한 동식물성잔재물의 재활용 가능 유형을 실제 재활용형태를 고려하여 개선하는 방안을 제시하였다. 동 폐기물의 재활용을 활성화하기 위해서는 외국의 식품폐기물 발생억제와 재활용 정책의 추진성과를 참고하여 식품의 제조, 유통과정에서 발생하는 식품폐기물 재활용 대책을 마련할 필요가 있으며, 일본에서 시행하고 있는 재생이용사업계획(리사이클루프) 인정제도의 국내 도입과 향후 수요처 감소로 재활용이 원활하게 이루어지지 않을 가능성이 있는 오리가공부산물의 재활용, 그리고 현재 폐기물로 관리되고 있는 깨박의 순환자원인정에 대하여 검토하였다. 본 연구 결과는 국내 식품제조업에서 발생하는 동식물성잔재물의 통계작성과 해당 폐기물의 재활용 정책을 추진하기 위한 기초 데이터로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

        Biochemical methane potential (BMP) of residual wastes from transesterification was tested to safely recycle carcass via rendering process. The carcass was obtained from a buried site for avian influenza (AI) infected poultry. Rendered lipid generated by a pilot-scale high-pressure rendering process was the main source of transesterification for biodiesel recovery. To test the feasibility of waste-to-energy approach for AI infected carcass, we compared the BMPs of various fractions of rendered materials from the carcass. BMP and specific methanogenic activity results indicate that transesterification waste shows better digestibility than that of rendered lipid, and the digestion performance was comparable to that of liquid residue. Biogas yields of glycerol, rendered lipids, and liquid residue were estimated as 0.11 L/g chemical oxygen demand (COD), 0.06 L/g COD, and 0.17 L/g COD, respectively. Regression analysis support that biogas production rate of glycerol (21 mL/g COD/d) was much faster than that of lipid (7 mL/g COD/d) while that of liquid residue was similar (24 mL/g COD/d). In summary using transesterification waste as a bioresource for bioenergy conversion can be a viable and sustainable option for the complete termination of burial site.

        Background: Cyanazine is used as a pre-emergent herbicide once during the growing season to control weeds of many upland crops worldwide. This study aimed to establish a method to determined cyanazine residue levels in major medicinal crops by using high performance liquid chromatography-UV detection/mass spectometry (HPLC-UVD/MS). Methods and Results: Cyanazine residue was extracted with acetone from the raw products of four representative medicinal plants - Scutellaria baicalensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Platycodon grandiflorum and Angelica gigas. The extract was diluted with a large volume of saline water and directly partitioned into dichloromethane to remove polar co-extractives in the aqueous phase. It was then purifined using optimized Florisil column chromatography. HPLC analysis conducted using an octadecylsilyl column allowed the successful separation of cyanazine from co-extractives of the samples, and the amount was sensitively quantified by ultraviolet absorption at 225 ㎚ with no interference. The accuracy and precision of the proposed method were validated by conducting recovery experiments on each medicinal crop sample fortified with cyanazine at two concentration levels per crop in triplicate. Conclusions: The mean recoveries ranged from 91.2% to 105.3% for the four representative medicinal crops. The coefficients of variation were less than 10%, irrespective of the sample types and fortification levels. The limit of quantification of cyanazine was 0.02 ㎎/㎏ as verified by the recovery experiment. A confirmatory method was performed by liquid chromatography/MS using selected-ion monitoring technique to clearly identify the suspected residue.

        In this study, the leaching characteristics of magnesium from mine residue by acid leaching method was studied. First, It was confirmed the effect of the particle size. The particle size was selected 80 mesh in consideration of the leaching amount and recycling rate of Mg. And after, It was compared to the leaching characteristics of magnesium by H2SO4, HCl and HNO3. Among them, leaching efficiency of H2SO4 was best. After the experiments were conducted with H2SO4. The effect of various parameters such as acid concentration, reaction temperature, and liquid/solid ratio on the leaching process were investigated. It was determined that the leaching amount of magnesium increased with reaction acid concentration, temperature, and liquid/solid ratio, and decreasing particle size. Maximum leaching amount of magnesium was obtained at the condition of particle size blow 80 mesh, temperature 80oC, 6 M H2SO4, 10/1 liquid/solid ratio, 6 h of reaction time and 180 rpm.

        In present study, the coffee residue was analyzed to finding out physicochemical characteristics and TG analysis that can simulate a pyrolytic kinetic, while comparing with that of chicken residue and food waste. The higher heating value (HHV) of coffee residue was 5,250 kcal/kg that is higher than that of wood pellet (4,300 kcal/kg), Additionally, it showed a good activation energy 72 kJ/mol which is similar with that of other biomass, such as saw dust, wood-chip and so on. It means that the coffee residue is meeting to standard for highest quality of wood pellet, and it would be used as a biomass in the future. However, it never become a fuel without main fuel, such as coal and wood, because its discharge amount is too little. Thus, it has to be applied to existing process, such as power plant which must to meet a RPS regulation. For this, physicochemical characteristics of various biomass have to be analyzed, while considering a discharge amount of them. Therefore, the research result would be provided to reclassification coffee residue to biomass from food wastes in the future.

        This study tried to seek the plan to recycle chicken residues (bones of seasoned spicy chicken and fried chicken) which are sent out thermally after chickens are delivered to homes and people eat them by grasping their basic characteristics. The analytical results of the weight reduction rate through the change before and after the weight is reduced have found that the average weight reduction rate of 38.0% is shown in the seasoned spicy chickens and fried chickens. The analytical results of low-heating value of chicken residues to grasp the thermochemical characteristics have found that the seasons spice chickens and fried chickens satisfy the SRF quality basis, 3,500 kcal/kg as 5,020.9 kcal/kg and 5,295.2 kcal/kg respectively. On the other hand, the analytical result of TG has found that the thermal weight reduction rate is relatively clear in the fried chickens. It is inferred that creation of the fried chickens is more uniform than that of the seasoned spicy chickens and the effect of bound water is lower than other biodegradable substances. And it is judged that the potential that they can be utilized as sold fuel without any separate preprocessing through the drying process only is shown.

        This study was carried out to investigate the difference of the content of soil chemical components and growthcharacteristics in six years old ginseng affected by application of decomposing plant residues in paddy-converted field. Theresults show that aerial parts of ginseng are no difference between press cake (PC) 200㎏/10a and control but subterraneanparts of ginseng PC 200㎏/10a, especially quantity related root fresh weight and tap root diameter, are statically about 1.6times heavier and about 1.2 times thicker than the ginseng control. Furthermore, the survival rate of PC 200㎏/10a is67.1% rise significantly compare with the control 50.7%. But compared with the PC 200㎏/10a and the PC 400㎏/10a,ginseng root growth and survival rate of PC 400㎏/10a get worse and that increase physiological disorder occurrence ratethan PC 200㎏/10a. Even though there are no significant differences between the ginseng of decomposing plant residuesexcept press cake treatment and the ginseng of control in growth characteristics, it does tend to increase the survival rateand decrease the physiological disorder occurrence rate in most fertilizer treatment except for RSC 2ton/10a, RSC 4ton/10a and RH 4kL/10a. Noted that EC is highly increased and exceeded 1.7ds/m in RSC 2ton/10a, RSC 4ton/10a and RH4kL/10a. It would be caused physiological disorder in many ways and affected ginseng growth characteristics, survival rate.

        There have been a lot of efforts to increase recycling rate by more utilization of end of life vehicles (ELVs) in Korea.The target of recycling rate was set to 85% until 2014 and 95% after 2015 with including up to 10% of energy recovery,according to the law of “regulation about resource recycling of electrical and electronic products and automobiles”.Therefore, to achieve 95% of recycling rate by the year of 2015, the automobile and recycling industries should developan innovative technology to treat automobile shredder residues (ASRs) by efficient means of reduction or conversion toenergy, which were generated as final left-over after recovering all the valuables from ELVs. As one of the options toconvert to energy forms, the gasification of them was proposed. In this study the gasification experiment was performedusing ASRs at fixed-bed reactor with a capacity of 1kg/hr, at different temperatures of 800, 1,000 and 1,200oC, and atequivalence air ratios ranging from 0.1 to 0.5. The syngas (H2+CO) yield from ASR gasification experiment was obtainedup to 86% in maximum and about 40% in minimum in the experimental conditions given. There was a trend that theamount of syngas increased with elevated temperatures and the calorific value also showed similar trend with syngasproduction.
