        본 연구는 서울시 강동구 녹지축인 산림과 인접한 시가화지역 내 야생조류 출현에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상지 도시생태계 현황 분석결과 시가화 비오톱은 녹지율이 높은 공동주택지 비오톱과 녹지율이 낮은 주상혼합지 및 상업업무지 비오톱이 주요 유형이었고 녹지 및 오픈스페이스 비오톱은 배후녹지 비오톱이 대부분이었다. 분석공간단위는 비오톱 유형별 블록을 기준으로 하였다. 봄철에 출현한 야생조류는 총 51종 3,419개체, 겨울철에 출현한 야생조류는 총 35종 4,213개체이었고 분석대상종은 연구 목적을 고려하여 시가화지역에 출현한 31종 중 도심지에 적응한 종과 맹금류, 수변에 서식하는 종들을 제외한 총 24종을 선정하였다. 선정된 종들을 대상으로 각 공간단위별 봄철, 겨울철 야생조류 출현종 및 개체수를 분석하였다. 시가화지역 야생조류 출현과의 상관분석을 위해 분석 공간단위별 블록면적, 녹지율, 건폐율, 용적율 등 토지이용구조와 교목 아교목층 녹지용적, 관목층 녹지용적, 블록내 평균 녹지패치면적, 교목층 평균 수고 및 흉고직경 등 녹지구조를 산출하였으며 주요 녹지와 각 블록간의 최단거리를 구하였다. 토지이용구조와 야생조류 출현특성과의 상관분석에서 블록면적, 녹지율, 건폐율은 야생조류 출현종수, 출현개체수에 영향을 주는 요인으로 분석되었다. 녹지구조와 야생조류 출현특성과의 상관분석에서 층위별 녹지용적, 블록내 평균 녹지패치면적, 교목층 수고는 야생조류 출현종수, 출현개체수에 영향을 주는 요인으로 분석되었다.

        The purpose of this study is to propose the methodology for introducing green infrastructure that can improve the health of citizens by promoting walkability. The methodology is composed of the following three phases: classification of the types of green spaces, selection of core green spaces with two separate analyses, and introduction of the framework of green infrastructure to promote walkability. In the first phase, the classification of the types of green spaces was carried out in order to understand existing distribution pattern of green spaces in study site. In the second phase, walkable blocks were selected by such methods as walkability value. Through these two analyses, all the blocks were divided into three groups according to the ranking figured up the second analyses' results. The blocks in the first group, the group involved in the top 30% and having the greatest ranking, were defined as walkable blocks. In the last phase, a basic frame of the green infrastructure in study site was introduced by connecting the walkable blocks with using other blocks and the green spaces over 1ha. In case study, 28 important green spaces and 35 walkable blocks were selected through the two analysis process. Then, the basic framework of green infrastructure based on the selected 28 important green spaces and 35 walkable blocks was introduced. The methodology applied to this study can be used to get the best selections of the proper green infrastructure in accordance with the purpose of the ecological and recreational local development. In particular, this study will suggest a specific analysis model to use for the ecological and walkable urban planning with green spaces existing in the city.

        본 연구는 최근 자연체험형 여가휴양 공간으로 이용이 커지고 있는 도시자연공원 탐방로의 분포와 훼손특성을 파악하여 향후 자연보전형 탐방로 정비의 방향을 설정하기 위한 기초 자료 제시를 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구대상지는 계양공원, 백마공원, 약사공원, 문학공원, 청 량공원이었다. 이들 공원은 인천시 남북녹지축에 위치하여 도시생태계 보전의 핵심지역이 되고 있는 산지형 도시자연공원이며 등반형 탐방이 많이 일어나는 곳이다. 주 탐방 노선수는 계양공원 42개, 백마공원 43개, 약사공원 9개, 문학공원 28개, 청량공원 22개로서 면적에 비해 과도한 탐방로가 있었으며 샛길이 늘어나고 있는 것으로 추측되었다. 연구대상지 탐방로의 평균 나지노폭은 3.5m, 평균 최대침식 깊이는 21.3cm로 나타났고 체계적인 정비가 없을 경우 훼손은 급격히 증가될 것으로 판단되었다. 훼손이 심해 복구가 요구되는 산림환경피해도 등급 5, 6등급의 비율은 19.6∼78.0%에 달했다. 연구결과에 기초하여 인천 남북녹지축상의 산지형 도시자연공원 탐방로의 정비와 관리방안을 제안하였다.

        이 연구는 인천시 공개공지의 조성과 이용실태 그리고 식재 현황을 분석하여 도심 녹지로서 기능을 개선하기 위한 방안제시를 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상지는 1994∼2002년 조성된 대형상업건물 10개소, 교통관련 건물 3개소, 공공기관 건물 2개소의 공개공지였으며, 우리나라와 유사한 공개공지 제도를 운영하고 있는 일본 오사카시와 가와사키시 공개공지의 식재지 구조를 인천시 연구대상지와 비교하였다. 인천시는 아직까지 공개공지를 도심 녹지로 보는 시각이 부족하였고 공개공지는 법적 의무만을 충족시키는 수준에서 조성되고 있었다. 공개공지의 도심녹지 기능 강화를 위해서는 첫째. 공개공지 식재지율을 어린이공원 수준인 40%로 늘려 소공원화 하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 공개공지의 수목 식재기반. 수종선정, 식재방법 등에 대한 사항을 인허가시 녹지관련 부서와 협의할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 셋째. 공개공지의 식재 기준으로 삼고 있는 '대지안의 조경 식재기준'을 현재 보다 상향 조정하여 녹지 질과 녹량을 증진시켜 환경개선 효과를 높일 수 있도록 해야 한다. 넷째. 공개공지를 시민들이 쉽게 알아보고 이용할 수 있는 안내 사인의 설치 의무화가 요구된다. 다섯째, 공개공지가 본래 목적 이외의 다른 용도로 전용되지 못하게 법적 규정을 마련할 필요가 있다.

        본 연구는 인천광역시 강화도 지역의 산지형 도시녹지를 대상으로 식생구조 분석을 통한 관리방향 제시를 목적으로 하였다. 총면적 11,331ha에 대한 현존식생 분석 결과 식물군집은 19개 유형으로 분리할 수 있었는데 이중 상수리나무군집, 소나무-상수리나무군집, 신갈나무군집 등 2차림이 전체의 92.32%(10,461ha)를 차지하고 있었다. 아까시나무림 등 인공식재림은 전체의 5.40%(612ha)로서 수도권지역 다른 도시들 보다 적은 면적을 나타내었다. 총 57개 조사구에 대한 TWINSPAN에 의한 classification분석 결과 총 7개 군집으로 분리되었는데 그것은 리기다소나무(군집 A), 상수리나무(군집 B), 소나무-상수리나무(군집 C), 상수리나무-소나무 (군집 D), 소나무-서어나무-졸참나무-상수리나무(군집 E), 졸참나무-신갈나무(군집 F), 느티나무-고로쇠나무 (군집 G)이었다. 강화도 지역은 온대 중부지방에서의 일반적인 천이진행단계인 소나무림에서 상수리나무림을 거쳐 신갈나무림, 졸참나무림, 서어나무림으로 생태적 천이가 진행중인 것으로 파악되었다. 토양 pH는 평균 4.17의 강산성 토양으로서 토양환경 개선을 위한 연구가 산림식생 관리계획에서 중요한 것으로 나타났다.

        본 연구는 1980년대 후반부터 조성된 5개 신도시 공동주택단지의 완충녹지를 대상으로 녹지의 형태와 식재기법, 효과 등을 분석하여 완충녹지 조성시 배식에 이용할 수 있는 자료 구축을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상지 완충녹지의 형태는 마운딩형, 사면형, 펴연형이었으며 식재된 수종으로는 교목은 상록수 10종, 낙엽수 20종의 총 30종이었고 관목은 총 13종 이었으며 도시공원 등의 관상용수종과 차이가 없었고 식재는 단층적으로 한 상태였다. 완충녹지에 의해 소음완화 효과는 인정되었으나 7개 조사유형중 4유형에서는 공동주택단지의 소음 기준치(65dB) 이하의 완충효과를 보이지 못했다. 소음완화효과는 마운드형이 효과적이었다. 본 연구대상지는 식재밀도, 녹지용적계수는 완충녹지의 기능을 충족시키지 못하고 있으며 자연림과 비교했을 때 식재밀도가 매우 적었고 녹지용적계수도 기준 녹지에 비해 션격히 낮은 값을 나타내어 개선이 요구되었다. 완충녹지는 높이를 2m 이상으로 한 마운딩형으로 조성지역 인근 자연림의 식생구조를 모델로 하는 복층적 식재기법을 이요하여 조성하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단되었다.

        The purpose of this study was to analyze examples of green infrastructure presented by the American Society of Landscape Architects as a part of basic research to assess hub green spaces in cities. With the specific goal of green infrasturcture in mind, the study samples were classified according to their purpose: ‘humanities’, ‘hydrology’, ‘ecology’, and ‘environment’. Based on this we assessed the elements of planning for the target sites and obtained the following results. With regard to the aspect of humanities, planning urban hub green spaces was related to the satisfaction in leisure activities and the ‘quality of life’ that people expect to enjoy at parks or other green areas in general. Rather than focusing on direct and visible benefits, which might come from green infrastructure’s technological elements, people hoped that parks and green areas have macroscopic values. For hydrological characteristics, the ‘ecologically manages stormwater’ was applied the most in planning hub green spaces in cities, and it mainly took the form of technological elements or factors. Third, the planning elements pertaining to ecological characteristics were identified as a combination of strategies and technological elements that ‘reintroduces native plants’ and ‘habitat for wildlife’. As for the plans to instill eco-friendly aspects, the study found that the research on air, climate, weather, heat reaction, soil, energy efficiency, and use and application of resources is important. However, it was difficult to measure the potential quantitative benefits of ‘reusing or recycling materials’, ‘reducing urban heat’, and ‘cooling air temperature’. The result of this study is meaningful in that it can be used for the assessment of urban hub green spaces in the future.

        Research to reduce urban temperatures and mitigate the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect has focused primarily on the role of large urban green spaces as cool islands (Oke, 2004;Park et al., 2017). However, the role of small green spaces (SGs) such as street trees and pocket parks has not been fully investigated. The purpose of this research is to assess the mitigating effect of SGs on micro-UHI through a comparative analysis of air temperatures of SGs and non-green spaces (NGs), that include building-shaded spaces (BS) and non-shaded, impervious, paved spaces (PS) completely exposed to sunlight. Six urban blocks were the study site and in a highly developed area, Jongnogu and Junggu, Seoul, 37°34′N 126°58′E, South Korea and also located in the same micro-climatic zone. They had SGs which were vegetation patches presented as distinct areas of tree cover. And they were mapped through aerial images analysis and field survey. The experiment was conducted across six urban blocks in a highly developed area in Seoul, South Korea during daytime in summer. Two researchers at each block simultaneously recorded air temperatures at 1.5 m above the ground level using mobile loggers at one-minute intervals for an hour. Measurements were repeated three times, and 1,296 temperature readings were collected in total and made 174 mean temperature data. ArcGIS was used to perform solar radiation analysis to highlight SGs, BSs, and PSs on a thermal map. The highest air temperatures and the lowest air temperatures of each block were extracted and classified. ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis H test utilizing SPSS statistics were used to verify the significant differences in mean air temperatures between SGs (TSG), PSs (TPS), and BSs (TBS). As a result, ΔTPS-B (the thermal effect of PSs on a block‘s air temperature) ranged from –1.38 ℃ to 2.28 ℃ with fifty-six points, ΔTBS-B (the thermal effect of BSs on a block’s air temperature) ranged from –2.38 ℃ to 2.38 ℃ with fifty-eight points and ΔTSG-B (the thermal effect of SGs on a block’s air temperature) ranged from –1.98 ℃ to 1.62 ℃ with sixty points. 68% (N = 41) of SGs were a negative number of ΔTSG-B while 50% of BSs shows a negative number. The result means that SGs contribute to reducing microscopic UHI than BSs which have much more shade area than SGs have. The results showed that SGs contributed to significantly reducing TBi up to 2.9 ℃ while BS reduced TBi up to 2.7 ℃. The highest TBi was on a PS. The air temperature difference between SGs and NGs over all the blocks ranged from 0.9 ℃ to 2.9 ℃. The air temperature difference between PS and SG was significant and ranged from 0.2 ℃ to 2.0 ℃, while the difference between BS and SG was significant and ranged from 0.1 ℃ to 1.2 ℃.

        The main purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that have an impact on public policy, green products and technology in Kuala Lumpur, given government initiatives to boost the environment awareness. The data used in this study was collected by distribution questionnaires randomly in six areas of Kuala Lumpur and 400 respondents were interviewed. Based on a literature review, three hypotheses were stated and tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). SEM is a statistical analysis method that involved two or more variables in analyzing structural relationships among the variables. The SEM model shows that green products and government policies have a direct influence on environmental awareness. However, green technology does not have a direct influence on environmental awareness. Since, knowledge on green technology does not have a significant impact on raising environmental awareness among the public, a much more pragmatic awareness campaign needs to be put in place to use green technology as a part of modern living. The study suggests that the urban population needs to be more aware of the environmental issue as cities tend to have better infrastructure to raise public awareness on green issues. Moreover, the government should increase the environmental awareness among younger generation through workshops, seminars, campaigns, and pamphlets.

        To analyze the cooling effect of urban green areas, we conducted micrometeorological measurements in these areas and their surroundings in Seoul, Korea. From the average hourly temperature measurements through each month for the last two years (March 2013 to February 2015), we found that the maximum temperature difference between urban and green areas was about 2.9℃ at 16:00 LST in summer, and the minimum was about 1.7℃ at 22:00 LST in winter. In summer, the temperature difference was the largest during the day, rather than at night, due mainly to shading by the tree canopy. The specific humidity difference between the two areas was about 1.5 g kg-1 in summer, and this decreased in the winter. The specific humidity difference between urban and green areas in summer is relatively large during the day, due to the higher evapotranspiration level of biologically active plants.

        To create urban landscapes that take human emotion into consideration, the present study verified the psychological effects of artificial waterscape facilities on users, as these facilities significantly impact their psychological comfort. Data was collected using the SD scales and POMS of 60 male and 60 female participants after they watched a video of four waterscape facilities. Participants deemed the video clip of a fountain waterscape to be artificial and linked it with changeable images that increased their vigor. The video clip of waterfall stimulated various impressions (e.g., vital, liked, active, etc.) and changed participant’ mood states by increasing their vigor and decreasing fatigue. The video clip of the pond yielded familiar impressions, produced less free images, and decreased tension among participants. Finally, the video clip of the stream stimulated quiet and comfortable images as well as reduced negative feelings of anger, confusion, and depression among participants. Furthermore, males experienced more positive effects than females, regardless of the type of waterscape facility. The study findings indicate that the four different waterscape facilities influenced participants’ mood states. Additionally, the psychological effects differed by gender. The data suggest that landscape planners need to carefully consider their choice of waterscape facility when designing green spaces to ensure that the space is psychologically comforting to users.

        This study was conducted to investigate the influence of hydrophilic polymer (HP) mixture ratio (Control, 1.0%, 2.5%, 5.0%, and 10.0%) on growth of eggplant (Solanum melongena) for lower maintenance urban agriculture via green roofs. Although it was not statistically significant (p > 0.05), substrate temperature was decreased as hydrophilic polymer mixture ratio were increased. High substrate water content (95%) was found consistently in growing media under elevated hydrophilic polymer mixture ratio at over 5% during the entire growing period. Substrate electronic conductivity was increased as hydrophilic polymer mixture ratio were increased. Growth index was decreased as hydrophilic polymer mixture ratio was increased. It was reduced about 1/3 and 1/5 compared to that of Control in HP5.0 and HP10.0 treatment plants, respectively. Number of leaves, leaf length, and leaf width were decreased in following order: Control> HP1.0> HP2.5> HP5.0> HP10.0 treatments. There numbers were significantly lower in HP5.0 and HP10.0 treatment plants. Dry weight of shoot and root were decreased as hydrophilic polymer mixture ratio was increased. They were reduced by 1/4 compared to those of Control treatment plants. In addition, visual value was decreased as hydrophilic polymer mixture ratio was increased. Plants grown in HP1.0, HP2.5, and HP5.0 treatments all survived. However, plants grown in the HP10.0 treatment had the lowest survival rate (56%) after 3 months of growing. These results indicate that the advantage of adding hydrophilic polymer to green roof growing media may greater during dry periods. However, the proper mixture proportion of hydrophilic polymer should be determined according to different characteristics of growing media and plant species.

        This study, the urban energy used office building green roof type composition of the target by analyze building energy reductions. Green roof is total 6 types(type A~F) were selected, EnergyPlus the energy simulation programs were used. Top floor of green roof types evaluation, the reduction of the cooling peak load type E(1.26%), type D(1.30%), type C(1.37%), type B(1.45%), type F(1.49%), and heating peak load is type D(1.32%), type E(1.40%), type C(1.47%), type F(1.69%), type B(2.13%) order. Annual cooling load of heating load is reduced more than about 1% effect. The heating load reduction ratio for a maximum of 9% respectively. Cooling peak load of the building energy performance evaluation of type F >type B >type C >type D >type E in the order and in the case of peak loads heating type B >type F >type D >type E >type C order. Annual total energy use reduction of 1.07 to 1.22% and earn, type B in the best good. In primary energy use reductions in the presence of a green roof were in the 4249~4876 kWh/yr. Annual CO2 emissions reductions of unapplied type A were analyzed on average 469.78 kg.

          This study suggests plan of green space management based on the result of research apprehending the characteristic through sorting types of city thermal environment targeting summer which thermal pollution is the most serious. Considering anthropogenic heat, development level of wind road, thermal environment, as a result of types of thermal environment process, it is appeared 36 types, and 10 types is relevant of this research subject. Type Ⅰ-1, size of building is large, artificial covering area is wide, and thermal load of anthropogenic heat is high, typeⅡ-1, development condition of wind road is incomplete as Ⅱlevel, entering cold air is difficult and thermal management and improvement is needed area. Type Ⅲ-1, scale is large and it is area of origin of cold air, development level of wind road is mostly favorable, type Ⅲ-2 is revealed as smaller scale than Ⅲ-1, and small area of origin of cold air. Type Ⅳ, anthropogenic heat is 81~150 W/㎡, average, but development function of wind road is very favorable. Type Ⅴ, large area of thermal load and the origin of cold air are distributed as similar ratio, and level of development function of wind road is revealed as Ⅱ level. According to standard of type classification of thermal environment, as a result of suggesting plan of green space management and biotops area ratio, type Ⅰ-1 is buffer green space and waterway creation, goal biotops area ratio 35%, type Ⅱ-1 afforestation in site and goal biotops area ratio 40%, type Ⅲ-1, preservation plan to display the current function continuously is requested. Type Ⅳ suggests afforestation of stream current, and typeⅤ suggests quantitative increase of green space and goal biotops area ratio 45%.

        As the combination of technique and art, environmental facilities have the function to improve the image of urban green space. Among these facilities, some can be designed and arranged reasonably. But to the facilities of sewage, electricity and sanitation and so on, are usually ignored and become the blemish in the green space. Based on the analysis of the status, taking the design of well cover of sewage as an example, the landscape approaches are discussed from form, material, color and artistic technique and so on.

        Green roof policies has helped to advance urban greening by creating green spaces on previously unused rooftops. However, there are no requirements covering matters such as greening methods, operation and maintenance obligations and many problems for sustainability and functioning of green roof and green space have been pointed out. This research is intended to clarify the contents and criteria of green roof policies currently implemented in Korea, Japan and other countries, compare them with the evaluation criteria for sustainable and public benefit rating systems and propose comprehensive indices for evaluating the multidimensional functions of green roof from the perspective of urban open space. As a result, it is found that obligation, grant, reimbursement, density bonus and tax credit are frequently used as green roof policies and 41 criteria including percentage of greening area, percentage of trees or shrubs, reduction of heat island effect, open space, landscape, and promotion of biodiversity are identified as criteria applicable to evaluating the multidimensional functions of green roof from the perspective of urban open space, respectively.

        Cool island intensity urban green space was investigated based in Dalsung Park, that is one of the largest parks in Daegu. Cool island intensity(CII), which is defined as the temperature difference between the green space and its surrounding built-up areas, shows time variations. A through-year measurement(2008-2009) of ground level air temperature revealed seasonal variation and relationship to the atmospheric condition of CII. The temperature variation in the park and the reference downtown Daegu was as same order as CII. The noontime CII is larger in summer than that in winter due to the leaf fall of the park trees. On the other hand, seasonal variation of nighttime CII is not so clear. The nighttime CII was larger under the stable atmosphere.
