벼 무논골뿌림 재배시 입모향상을 위한 기술체계를 확립하고자 1995년에 발아시험기에서 동진벼를 공시하여 최아장, 과산화석회 (CaO2 ) 종자분의 및 파종(매몰)심도에 따른 출아, 입모 및 초기 생육을 검토한 바를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 출아율 및 입모율은 최아장이 길수록 향상되었고 파종심도가 깊을수록 저하되었는데 입모율이 l0% 이하로 현저히 저하된 최아장별 파종심도는 무최아 0.5cm, 2mm 최아 1.0cm, 4mm 및 6mm 최아는 2.0cm이었다. 2. 최아장이 길수록, 파종심도가 말을수록 초장이 크고 건물중이 무거웠으며 입수도 많았다. 3. 최아장 6mm에서는 파종이 불균일하고 파종립수가 매우 적어 입모수 및 입모의 균일도가 매우 낮았으나 최아장 4mm에서는 파종이 균일하고 입모율 및 입모의 균일도가 높았다. 4. CaO2 종자분의로 출아율 및 입모율이 향상되었으며 CaO2 분의에 의한 입모향상 효과는 최아종자보다 무최아종자에서 컸다. 5. CaO2 처리로 입모율 50% 이상을 보인 파종심도는 무최아종자, 최아종자 모두 1.0cm까지이었으며 파종심도 3cm에서는 모든 처리 에서 전혀 입모되지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 보아 벼 무논골뿌림재배에 알맞는 최아장은 3~4mm라고 생각되며 CaO2 를 분의 하더라도 입모의 안정을 위하여는 종자가 출아전에 1cm 이상 매몰되지 않도록 파종 전후 물관리를 적절히 해야 할 것으로 생각된다.
This study was carried out to clarify the effect of sprout length, burried depth of seed and CaO2 seed coating on emergence, seedling stand and early growth of rice in puddled-soil drill seeding at Junbuk in 1995. The cultivar tested was Dongjinbyeo(Japonica type). Although the longer sprouted seeds were caused the better seedling stand, 4mm sprout length of seeds appeared to be appropriate for good seedling stand and seeding uniformity, while 6mm sprouted seed resulted in ununiform seedling establishment. Rapid emergence and increased seedling stand were obtained by CaO2 seed coating, which had effect more on soaked seed than on sprouted seed, but the seedling stand of sprouted seeds significantly reduced at deeper than 1cm seeding depth and also emergence rate of sprouted seeds significantly reduced at deeper than 2cm seeding depth.
