이 연구는 2007년 개정 한문과 교육과정과 교육과정 해설 ‘평가’ 항목에 대한 비평적 검토를 목적으로 하였다. 자료 수집 및 연구 방법은 문헌 연구, 설문 조사연구 그리고 포커스 그룹 면담이었다. 설문 조사를 통하여 교육과정 해설 ‘평가’의 문제점을 조사하였다. 교사의 참고 여부와 정도, 평가 항목 자체의 문제, 효율적 적용 방안 등을 살펴보았다. 현장의 한문 교사들은 평가 항목에 대해 대체로 부정적 인식을 나타내었다. 현장 한문 교사들의 부정적 인식에 작용하는 배경을 탐구하였다. 학생 평가의 본질, 학생 평가의 변인, 그리고 교육과정과 학교 현장 사이의 소통성의 문제가 개입되었다. 이를 해결하기 위해, 교육과정 개발진들의 상세화에 대한 배려와 교 육과정 실행 주체인 교사들의 역략 제고가 필요하다.

This research is aimed at critical examination on the 2007 revised curriculum of classical Chinese class and 'evaluation' item in the curriculum’s guide. The methods of this research are literature review, survey and interview with a focus group. The evaluation’s problems in curriculum’s guide were searched through the survey. The teacher’s reference to the guide, the problem of evaluation item itself and the effective application were examined. The actual teachers of classical Chinese have shown negative cognition of the evaluation item. The factors influencing on teacher’s negative cognition were studied. The essence of evaluating students, the factors of evaluating students and the misunderstandings between curriculum and actual class were involved. The developers’ consideration for the detailed curriculum and teachers’ capability to perform the curriculum were necessary to solve these problems.
