漢字學과 漢字 敎育은 그 목표와 성격을 서로 달리한다고 볼 수 있지만, 한자 교육은 한자학의 학문 체계와 이론에 기반하는 부분이 많이 있음은 분명하다. 그러므로 한자학 이론에 대해 탐구하면서 이 가운데에 한자 교육에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 찾는 것은 한자 교육에 대한 연구를 더욱 심도 있게 수행하기 위한 유용한 방법이라고 할 수 있다. 한자학 각 분야의 이론을 한자 교육에 적극적으로 활용하는 것이 필요하다는 인식 하에, 본고는 중국에서 1990년대부터 한자학의 한 분야로 등장한 漢字文化學에 주목하여 그것의 연구방법론을 한자 교육에 활용하는 방안에 대해 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본론에서는 먼저 현행 한문교과서에서 古代 文化와 한자를 관련지어 설명한 부분을 찾아 제시하면서 이것이 한자 교육의 유용한 한 방법이라는 점을 강조하였으며, 또 여기에서 찾을 수 있는 문제점에 대해서도 언급하였다. 이어서, 한자 관련 서적에서 고대 문화와 한자를 연결시켜 설명한 몇 가지 사례에 대해 살펴보았으며, 또 한자의 구성 요소인 部件에 주목하여 그것의 본뜻이 여러 한자에서 활용되는 양상을 고대 문화와 연관하여 분석하였다. 예를 들면, 敎･改･學･孝･流･育･保 등에 대한 검토를 통해 이들 한자가 묘사하고 있는 고대 사회 어린 아이의 모습을 알 수 있었으며, 또한 이미 널리 알려진 子 뿐만 아니라 己･･呆도 아이를 뜻하는 부건으로 쓰였음을 확인하였다. 기존에 제시된 한자와 고대 문화를 연계하여 설명하는 방법에서는 완정한 하나의 한자를 위주로 한 것이 대부분이었다. 하지만 본고에서 제시한 바와 같이, 部件이 지닌 자원과 문화적 요소를 검토하고 그것이 활용된 한자를 정리하는 것 또한 한자 교육 방법으로 매우 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

Though Chinese characters science is different from Chinese characters education in the goal and nature, considerate portions of Chinese characters education are based on academic system and theory of Chinese characters science. Therefore, it is a useful way for carrying out in-depth study on Chinese characters education to research theories of Chinese characters science and, in the process of that, to look for a method able to effectively utilize Chinese characters education.Like this, under the recognition that it is necessary to utilize theories of various Chinese characters science fields, this paper paid attention to Chinese characters culturology which appeared from 1990's and examined a method for utilizing its research methodology to Chinese characters education. In the main issues, first of all, proposing an example in which ancient culture and Chinese characters are linked and explained in a present classical Chinese textbook, it was disclosed that such a method is a useful one for Chinese characters education, and also problems which could be found from such a method were proposed. Continuously, this paper looked into a few examples in which Chinese characters and ancient culture are linked and explained, especially paid attention to bu-geon(部件) and analyzed aspects in which its main meaning is utilized in various Chinese characters in linkage with ancient culture. In an explanation by connecting Chinese characters previously proposed to ancient culture, one Chinese character was mostly used. However, as proposed in this paper, it can be said that it is a useful way for educating Chinese characters to examine cultural contents contained in bu-geon(部件), and to summarize Chinese characters in which it was utilized.

汉字学与汉字教育的目标与性质虽互不相同,汉字教育在汉字学的学术体系与理论中占有不小的基础性比重.因此,在研究汉字学理论的过程中,找到和发现有用的汉字教育的方法对汉字教育领域来说也不失为一种有效的研究途径.在汉字教育应该积极吸收汉字学各个领域的理论的认识下,本稿拟以1990年代以后成为汉字学一大研究领域的汉字文化学为焦点,探讨其研究方法论在汉字教育方面有哪些应用.在本论部分,笔者先搜集整理了现行汉文教科书中关于古代文化与汉字的关系的说明部分,说明其对汉字教育有所帮助,同时也指出了相关的一些问题.然后,探讨了汉字类书籍将古代文化和汉字联系起来讲解的案例,汉字的组成部分‘部件’的原义及其在汉字中的活用,以及其与古代文化的关系.以往对于汉字与古代文化的相关关系的研究大都以一个完整的汉字为主,而如本稿所述,探讨‘部件’所带有的字源和文化元素,活用‘部件’以讲解汉字及汉字文化,进行汉字教育的方法也是一种可行的有效手段.
