본 연구는 현행의 국어과 평가 개선의 방안으로 학생의 학습과 성장을 돕는 학습 지향적 평가 로의 변화 방안을 탐색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 특히, 2011년 ‘스마트 교육 추진 전략’에 따라 서 책형 교과서의 한계를 극복하는 교과서 형태인 디지털 교과서를 활용하여 그 체계적인 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 디지털 교과서는 현재 2014년 전국 초․중학교를 대상으로 하여 사회, 과학 등의 일부 디지털 교과서가 학교 현장에 보급되면서 그 실현 가능성을 확인 중에 있다. 분명한 것은 현 시점은 학습자의 발달과 학교 및 교과 특성을 반영하면서 현행의 교육 시스템에 적용 가능한 디지털 교과서의 모형 개발이 필요한 시기라는 점이다. 그리고 디지털 교과서가 반영해 야 할 교육 생태계의 주된 변화는 평가 체제의 변환이라는 점에 주목할 필요가 있다. 여기서는 디지털 교과서를 활용하여 학생의 학습과 성장을 돕는 국어과 평가로의 전환 방안을 체계적으로 모색하였다. 특히, 국어 학습자의 학업적 강점과 약점을 진단하고 개별 학업 수준과 특성을 고려 한 교수적 피드백을 연계하도록 하여 본질적인 학업적 성장과 발달을 지원할 수 있도록 하는 학 습 지향적 평가가 내재된 국어과 디지털 교과서의 모형의 실현태를 제안해 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the way to shift current korean language assessment from assessment of learning to assessment for helping students’learning and growth. Especially, digital textbooks emphasized in SMART education policies of Korea are used to improve korean language assessment methods. Currently, the interest in digital textbook studies is about developing the models of digital textbook for Korean language Students’growth, school level and subject characteristics which are applicable to Korean education system changes. New digital textbooks have to reflect the current education eco system emphasizing assessment for individual, diagnosis and non-competition. The model of the digital textbook suggested in this study for improving korean language assessment includes reports of korean language students’achievement status and profile and diagnosis of korean language students’strength and weakness, instructional feedbacks for self-directed learning. And the model of the digital textbook is linked to external mobile applications(ex. Classting, SOCATIVE, Rubric scorer, etc) for activating the instant, interactive and individual feedbacks. These traits of the model can improve korean language assessment to assessment for learning and then can support growth and development of students’korean language abilities.
