본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 사상가이며 대학자인 남명의 敬義사상에 내포 된 교육적 의미를 추출하여 오늘날 유아인성지도를 위한 교사의 리더십을 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구결과, 敬義사상에 근거한 유아인성지도 교사는 마음 을 다하여 수양하며, 올바른 배움으로 인지적, 정의적, 활동적 리더십을 義 롭게 실천해야하는 것으로 분석되어졌다. 본 연구결과가 유아기 인성지도 교사의 리더십 연구에 주는 시사점은 남명의 敬義사상을 통하여 정체성 있 는 교육자 역할을 정립하고 인성지도를 위한 실천적 방향을 제시할 수 있다 는 점이다.

The purpose of the study is to address the implications of teacher leadership by reviewing Nammyung's kyong(敬)-eui(義) thought. The practical idea of teacher leadership from Nammyung's kyong-eui thought were analyzed as follows; cognitive leadership, affectionate leadership and active leadership. Teacher leadership is closely connected to Nammyung's educational thought and practice. The implication on early childhood education is that it can be used to expand the scope of practical teacher leadership related to early childhood character education with identity based on Nammyung's thought.
