In this study, to investigate differences between artificial and natural conditions, two acceleration test methods (electrochemical testing and chemical testing) were performed using concrete specimens. Following this, the quantity of calcium leaching and the degraded thickness obtained from each acceleration test were compared with those of the deionized water tests. According to results, the acceleration test method corresponds well to the leaching degradation and the chemical acceleration test method is most useful for accelerating the leaching of cement hydrate in concrete.
