본 연구는 교직 교육과정 수업에 대한 분석 준거 틀을 제시하고 이를 기반으로 진행된 수업에서 학생들이 학습할 가치가 있다고 생각하는 영역과 학습하기 용이한 영역을 조사하여, 교직 교육과정 수업에서 다루어야 할 내용이 무엇인지를 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 수업이 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 서울 지역 3개 대학에서 교직 교육과정 수업을 수강한 학생 96명의 설문응답을 분석하였으며, 설문 결과에 대한 보다 유의미한 해석을 위하여 10명의 학생을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교직 교육과정 수업에서 다루는 교육과정에 대한 이론적 기초 영역은 다른 내용이나 영역으로의 전이가가 높은 내용을 선정하고 조직해야 한다. 둘째, 교직 교육과정 수업의 교육과정 개발 영역에서는 실제로 교육과정을 개발하는 절차와 관련된 보다 구체적이고 실용적인 내용을 선정하고 조직할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 교직 교육과정 수업의 수업 내용 선정에 있어 임용시험을 준비하는 학생과 그렇지 않은 학생들이 인식하는 학습의 가치성에는 차이가 나타났으며, 이에 유의하여 수업을 진행하면 학생들에게 보다 실질적인 도움을 제공할 수 있다.
This study tries to analyze the contents of curriculum study course focusing on the teacher certificate exam, and also investigate what content would be valuable and easy for the students. Next, this study tries to suggest how the curriculum study course focusing on the teacher certificate exam should be designed and developed. For the objectives, 96 students in three different universities in Seoul taking the curriculum study course took the survey and 10 students among them were selected for more detailed analysis based on the focus group interview. The results of the study show that the content on the theoretical basics of curriculum study should be selected and designed in a way that can be more related to other contents. Next, the content of curriculum development should cover the real development of curriculum and its application to the class. Lastly, the value of contents perceived by the students were different based on their career goals, therefore, the teacher needs to prepare the course based on the students’ needs such as their plans for the teacher certificate exam.
