고대 그리스의 완벽한 비례로 부터 출발한 황금비율은 아름다움을 추구하려는 노력에도 불구하고 실제의 적용에 있어서 그 한계를 드러내 왔다. 그러한 증거는 고대 그리스의 파르테논 신전으로, 이 건축물은 우리가 지금까지 인식한 것처럼 완벽한 황금비율에 의해 건축되지 않았다. 또한 르네상스 시대의 레오나르도 다빈치와 미켈란젤로의 설계도 역시 명확한 근거를 제시하지 못하고 있다. 그러나 현대의 건축가인 르 코르뷔지에는 황금분할에 의해 완성되는 황금비율을 통한 스스로의 모듈을 개발하여 이를 자신의 건축에 적용시켜 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현대의 건축가인 르 코르뷔지에의 유니테 다비따시옹과 피르미니 베르에 실제로 드러난 황금분할 분석을 통한 모듈을 이해하고, 황금비율이 실제로 적용이 가능하다는 것에 대한 연구자 만의 새로운 모듈의 형식을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 연구는 앞으로 건축설계에 있어 새로운 가능성과 함께 합리적인 디자인을 위한 하나의 방법이 될 것으로 전망된다.

The Golden Rule, which began with the perfect proportion in ancient Greece, has revealed its limitation in real application despite the efforts to pursue the beauty. The evidence supporting the existence of such limitation is the Temple of Parthenon built in ancient Greece. This architectural structure was not built according to the Golden Rule as we have thought so far. Furthermore, the designs of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo in the Renaissance Period do not present the clear basis. However, Le Corbusier, the modern architect, developed the module based on the Golden Rule which came to perfection through the Golden Section which he applied to his own architecture. Thus, this study aims to promote the understanding of the module through the analysis of golden section which was actually revealed in the Unite d'Habitation and Firminy-Vert of Le Corbusier, the modern architect, and present a new module form of this researcher with respect to the fact that the Golden Rule is really applicable. This study is expected to provide another basis for reasonable design, as well as present the new possibility of architectural design in the period ahead.
