This study analyzes the design elements and principles of flower arrangement to develop programs that can be applied to elementary after-school and aims to demonstrate its effectiveness through a questionnaire. For the study, analyzes of flower design elements and principles through a literature and previous studies that about gardening activitie’s impact on children. In addition, analyzes the elementary school curriculum and extracts the flower design elements and principles that can be connected to the elementary curriculum to develop the flower arrangement program. Developed programs are proven by conducting surveys for theirs fitness as elementary after-school program and children's anticipated preference for 20 elementary school teachers and 20 lecturer who directly teach the after-school classes in the elementary school. The results were as follows. First, flower design elements and principles of design and flower arrangement theory was connected with the elementary school curriculum. Second, by analyzing the elementary school curriculum that can be connected flower design, develop flower design after-school programs in 15 periods. Programs are five associated with design elements and principles, five about color that most associated with elementary curriculum and five about trends and lifestyle associated with flowers. Developed programs are limited to the possible level that applies to the elementary after-school classes about cost, time, and technology. Third, the programs are proven by teachers and after-school classes lecturer. According to survey results, the art is the most relevant to flower design and developed 15 programs were proven their suitability to elementary after-school programs.
