목적: 시력보정을 위한 굴절검사에서 안경 착용자와 콘택트렌즈 착용자의 렌즈 제거 후 시간별 굴절력 변화를 살펴보고 안정화 시간을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 안경 착용자 30명(60안)과 소프트 콘택트렌즈 착용자 91명(182안)을 대상으로 하였으며, 안경 또는 콘택트렌즈 제거 후 즉시, 30분 후, 60분 후 그리고 콘택트렌즈 제거 시에 한하여 추가로 90분 후에 타각적 굴절검사, 자각적 굴절검사, 각막곡률반경검사를 각각 실시하였다. 결과: 자각적, 타각적 굴절검사 및 각막곡률반경검사 값은 안경렌즈의 제거 후60분까지 모든 시간별로 변화를 보이지 않은 반면, 콘택트렌즈 제거 후에는 시간별로 유의한 변화를 보였으며 이 검사 값들은60분 이후 안정화되는 경향을 보였다. 결론: 이러한 결과로 볼 때 굴절 보정과 소프트 콘택트렌즈 교체를 위한 굴절검사는 렌즈를 제거한 뒤 60분 이후에 검사가 이루어져야 할 것으로 본다.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate refractive changes and stability during refraction after spectacles and contact lens removal. Methods: Objective and subjective refraction, and corneal radius were measured in 30 subjects (total 60 eyes) with glasses and 91 subjects (total 182 eyes) with contact lenses at 0, 30, and 60 min after glasses or lens removal, and also at 90 min for lens removal. Results: The results showed that objective refraction, subjective refraction and corneal radius were not significantly changed in subjects wearing glasses, otherwise there are significant differences in subjects wearing contact lenses at time intervals until 60 min, and these values appeared to be stabilized after 60 min. Conclusion: This study suggests that refraction might be examined at least 60 min after removal of lenses in order to correct refraction for contact lens replacement or spectacle prescription.
