융⋅복합을 기반으로 4차 산업 혁명의 관심이 뜨거운 가운데 가구산업에도 IT기술과 융합한 스마트가구가 출시되면서 지금까지 전혀 새로운 가구의 형태를 제시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 융⋅복합을 기반으로 하는 가구개발 및 디자인 사례를 분석 하였다. IT 기술융합 가구는 IcT, IoT기술에 의한 유무선 인터넷을 통해 생활정보 제공과 검색 기능 등 홈 네트워크 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 스마트 가구로 개발되었고, 의료기술 융합가구는 인간의 수면이나 휴식의 질을 높이고 맞춤형 케어를 통해 건강한 일상생활을 지원할 수 있는 헬스케어 가구로 개발 되고 있다. 또한 첨단산업 소재융합 가구는 항공우주 및 의료산업 등 첨단산업 소재를 통하여 강도와 내구성, 그리고 안전성을 확보하여 보다 안전한 일상생활 가구로 개발 되고 있다. 또한 기능, 융⋅복합형 가구는 1인 가구 및 소형 공간에 적용 가능하도록 복합적인 기능과 다용도, 그리고 분리겸용을 통해 공간의 융통성을 지원하는 가구로 개발 되고 있으며, 디자인 융⋅복합 가구는 콜라보레이션을 통해 다양한 소비자의 구매 패턴에 대응할 수 있는 가구로 개발되는 특성을 보이고 있다. 이러한 융⋅복합의 형태가 IT기술 & 디자인, 메디컬 & 디자인, 그리고 기능과 소재와의 융⋅복합 등이 연관되어 개발되고 있다. 이에 따라 가구산업은 디자인의 혁신 뿐 아니라, 4차 산업혁명의 변화와 더불어 디지털 플랫폼과의 융⋅복합을 통해 첨단 산업으로 변신할 수 있는 가능성이 크다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구가 국내 가구산업의 융⋅복합을 통한 첨단 가구산업으로의 발전에 기초적 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

Complex households show characteristics developed as furniture that can respond to various consumer purchasing patterns through collaboration. This furniture industry fuses with the digital platform along with the change of the fourth industrial revolution. It can be said that there is a high possibility that it can transform into advanced industry through combination. Therefore, in this research, we expect to be a basic material for the development of advanced industry in the domestic furniture industry.
