본 연구의 목적은 비행청소년들을 대상으로 이들의 공격성에 가족, 인지, 심리 요인이 미친 영향을 알아보고자 함이다. 이를 위해 전국 15개 청소년비행예방센터에 의뢰된 572명의 비행청소년들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 실시한 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통제변수만 투입하였을 때 학업성적과 유예중퇴경험이 유의미한 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족요인들을 추가한 회귀모형에서는 가족화목도와 가족의사소통이 유의미한 요인으로 나타났다. 통제변수는 모형1과 동일하게 유의미하였다. 셋째, 인지적 요인들을 추가한 모형에서는 공격신념이 낮을수록, 자기통제력과 가족화목도가 높을수록 공격성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 통제변수는 더 이상 유의미하지 않았다. 마지막으로 심리적 요인들을 추가한 최종모형에서는 자기통제력이 낮을수록, 우울/불안수준과 공격신념이 높을수록 공격성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자기통제력, 우울/불안, 공격신념 순으로 유의미한 영향력을 가졌다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 비행청소년의 공격성과 관련된 논의와 함의점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of family, cognitive, psychological factors on the aggression of juvenile delinquents. A sample of 572 youths, referred to 15 Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Centers through the nation by the Judicial authority, participated in the study by self reporting in questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed through multiple regression analysis, and we found out as followed. Firstly, as the control variables, their academic performances and experience of dropping out of school were statistically significant. Secondly, in the model with family factors, their family harmony and family communication had statistical significance. Thirdly, when the participants have less beliefs about aggression and the higher level of self control and family harmony, they tend to be less aggressive. Control variables are, in this case, no longer significant. Lastly, in the model with psychological factors, those with the less control of themselves, the higher level of depression/anxiety and the more beliefs about aggression are more likely to be aggressive. Specifically, self-control, depression/ anxiety level and beliefs about aggression are more influential in order. Based on these results, implications and suggestions were discussed.
