본 연구는 교과과정과 교수법에 영향을 미치는 체육교사 가치지향성 측정도구의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하여 한국의 교육과 환경에 맞는 질문지를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. Ennis와 Chen(1993)에 의하여 개정된 가치지향성 질문지(VOI-2)의 타당화 검증을 위해 5개 요인(교과내용 숙달, 학습과정, 사회적 책임감, 자아실현, 생태학적 통합) 90문항으로 이루어진 가치지향성 질문지의 요인을 토대로 번역과 번역본 검토절차에 따라 국문판 질문지를 작성하였고, 1차 내용타당도 검증결과 추출된 45문항 5요인의 가치지향성 질문지는 통계적 검증절차(탐색적, 확인적 요인분석)에 따라 4개요인(교과내용 숙달, 학습과정, 사회적 책임감, 자아실현) 34문항으로 최종 제작되었다. 비교문화적 관점에서의 타당성 검증은 북미의 가치지향성 개념이 갖는 보편성 뿐 아니라 우리 문화에서 발견되는 독특한 특성까지도 찾아줄 수 있다는데 그 의미성이 있다.

Development and Validation of Korean Physical Education Tecaher' Value Orientation Inventory Yoo, Jin·Chung, Woo-Young (Chung-Ang University)The purposes of this study are to examine the reliability and validity of the Value Orientation Inventory (VOI-2) developed by Ennis and Chen (1993). A total of 236 subjects were randomly selected from middle and high school physical education teachers and college and university instructors in order to validate the Korean version of Value Orientation Inventory (VOI-2). The results revealed that the original Value Orientation Inventory (VOI-2), consisting of five factors with 90 items was reconstructed into four factors with 34 items, which contained disciplinary mastery, learning process, self-actualization, and social reconstruction, but excluded ecological integration factor. The result of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) demonstrated that the Value Orientation Inventory (VOI-2) was constructed with Two-Main Factors; Factor 1 consisted of disciplinary mastery and learning process, whereas Factor 2 consisted of self-actualization and social reconstruction. Validation of cross-cultural researchers have meaning that not only the generality of U.S valule orieintation but also the characteristic of our culture what we can find
