본 연구의 목적은 Dunn 등(2006)의 스포츠 다원적 완벽주의 척도(Sport Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, Sport-MPS)에 기초하여 무용전공 고등학생과 대학생들의 완벽주의 성향을 측정하기 위한 한국판 척도를 제작하여 교차 타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 총 746명의 남녀 학생들이 본 연구에 참여하였으며, 자료는 기술통계, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석, 그리고 다집단 분석에 의해 분석되었다. 최종 확정된 4요인 25문항(개인적 기준, 실수에 대한 염려, 부모의 압박, 교사의 압박)에 대하여 다집단 분석을 실시한 결과, 다차원적 완벽주의 척도가 학교, 무용경력 및 무용전공 집단에서 공통적으로 사용될 수 있고, 시간적 안정성도 양호한 측정도구로서 확인되었다. 집단 간 잠재평균분석의 결과 대학생과 경력이 많은 학생이 고등학생과 경력이 적은 학생보다 교사의 압박과 실수에 대한 염려 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for measuring multidimensional perfectionism among high school and university students majoring dance and to evaluate its cross-validation. A total of 746 male and female dance students participated in this study. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, correlation, multiple regression analysis, and multi-group analysis. The results of multi-group analysis on 25 items with four sub-factors (personal standards, concern over mistakes, parental pressures, and teacher pressures) indicated that dance perfectionism scale consisting of 25 items was confirmed as a reliable and valid measure which can be commonly used for all groups cross grade, dance careers, and majors, and is good in temporal stability. The results of latent mean analysis across groups also showed that university dance students and students with high career were lower in the level of teacher pressure and concern over mistakes than high school dance students and students with short career, whereas ballet and modern dance students were higher in concern over mistakes than korean dance students and students with short career.
