『주역』은 시간과 공간의 범주로 세계를 인식하고 있다. 그리고 세상의 변화를 음양 상징체계로 표현하고 있다. 기본적으로 『주역』은 점서이며, 점이란 미래를 예측하는 것이다. 미래를 예측한다는 것은 시간과 공간의 한계를 초월하는 의미가 내재되어 있다. 정신작용으로 이루어지는 점술예측은 물리적인 의미에서의 시간과 공간의 한계를 초월한다.
이 논문은 점술을 통한 미래예측의 문제를 시간과 공간이라는 관점에서 살펴보았다. 그리고 분석심리학에서의 동시성이론과 관련하여 비교하여 보았다. 융은 정신과 사건의 관계를 다루면서 시간과 공간의 상대성에 주목하였다. 그리고 『주역』의 점술에도 깊은 관심을 가졌다.
분석심리학과 마찬가지로『주역』의 점술은 인간의 정신이 현상계의 사건에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 인간의 정신은 물리적인 시공간의 한계를 초월한다는 것을 보여준다. 인간은 현재가 아닌 미래를 살고 있다. 열린 미래관에서 능동적이고 창조적인 미래가 열린다.

The I Ching or Book of Changes recognizes the world into categories of time and space. And expresses the transformation of the world into yin and yang symbol systems. Basically, the I Ching is a book of occult. Occult is to predict the future. Predict the future is meant to transcend the limitations of time and space. Occult prediction made of mentation is beyond the limits of time and space in a physical sense.
This paper examined the problem of predicting the future through fortune-telling in terms of time and space. And it was compared with respect to synchronicity theory in Analytical Psychology. While dealing with the relationship between psychiatric events, Jung noted in the relativity of time and space. And he had a deep interest in the occult of the I Ching.
Likewise the analytical psychology, the I Ching shows that the human mind can influence the events of the phenomenal world. And the human spirit shows that transcend the limitations of physical space-time. Humans live for the future rather than the current value. The active and creative future will take place in Open Mind.
