본 연구는 사회복지대상자의 아유르베다 체질과 질병을 파악하고자 복지대상자 중 질병을 앓고 있는 대상자 343명을 연구하였다. 연구결과, 바따 체질은 77명, 삣따체질은 75명, 까빠체질은 48명, 바따-삣따체질은 48명, 바따-까빠체질은 35명, 삣따-까빠체질은 60명이었다. 아유르베다 체질과 질병의 분석은 교차분석, 카이제곱(X²) 검정을 하였으며, 바따성 질병은 바따 체질에서 많이 발생하였고 통계결과는 유의미하였다(X²=81,769, p〈.05) . 삣따성 질병은 삣따체질에서 많이 발생한 것으로 나타났으며 통계결과는 유의미하였다 (X²=76,982, p〈.05). 까빠성 질병은 까빠체질에서 많이 발생한 것으로 나타났으며 통계결과는 유의미 하였다(X²=81,121, p〈.05). 바따체질의 질병은 관절염, 조현병, 척추디스크 순으로 많이 나타났으며, 삣따체질의 질병은 고혈압, 뇌출혈·뇌경색, 요추·척추염, 위암·위염 순으로 나타났고, 까빠체질의 질병은 우울증, 호흡기질환, 천식, 통풍질환 순으로 나타나 아유르베다 체질과 질병 발병은 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

This study, to understand Ayurveda constitution and disease 343 people were analyzed to identify the disease, the welfare recipients who suffer from the disease and disease victims of social welfare targets. Research analysis results, The study showed that Vata type were composed of 77 person, Pitta type 75 person and Kapha type 48 person, Vata- Pitta type 48 person, Vata-Kapha type 35 person , Pitta-Kapha type 60 person. Analysis of Ayurveda constitution and disease was performed by cross analysis and chi square (X²) test. Vata disease was more common in Vata constitution and statistical results were significant (X² = 81,769, p <.05). Pitta-related diseases were found to occur predominantly in the pitta, and statistical results were significant (X² = 76,982, p <.05). Kappa disease was found to occur predominantly in Kapha constitution and statistical results were significant (X² = 81,121, p <.05). The diseases of Vata constitution appeared in the order of arthritis, ChoHyunSick and spinaldisc. The diseases of pitta constitution appeared in order of hypertension, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, lumbar spine, stomach cancer·gastritis. The diseases of kapha constitution appeared in the order of Depression, respiratory disease, asthma, gout disease and Ayurveda constitution and disease outbreak were found to be related.
