이 논문은 섬과 관련된 시를 어떻게 읽을 것인가를 논의한다. 라지브 S. 파트키는 최근 좋은 저서 『섬과 시: 물질성과 창조적 상상력』이라는 저서를 출간했는 데, 이것은 영문학분야에서 앞으로 본 분야에 대한 논의를 활성화할 것으로 기대한다.

This essay deals with how to read poetry that relates to islands. Rajeev S. Patke has recently published a good book, which expands the scope of literary scholarship to a new field, “islands and literature.” Pattke’s Poetry and Islands will open up this discussion in the future in English scholarship.
