현대사회는 여성과 남성이 가정생활과 일을 병행하면서 살아가야 하는 시대가 되었다. 산업사회의 변화는 여성의 노동력을 필요로 하고 있으며, 기혼여성을 경제 활동에 참여시켜 생활비와 양육비 그리고 교육비 등의 경제적 필요성을 보충해야만 되게 되었다. 이러한 사회에서 맞벌이 부부가 맘 놓고 아이를 낳을 수 있는 사회 환경이 필요하며, 출산 가능한 부부는 사회에 공헌하겠다는 의지를 갖고 스스로 출산율을 높이는데 기여하여야 하겠다. 이와 더불어 어머니의 양육태도가 영유아의 전 일생에 거쳐 영향을 주며 영유아의 장래에 지대한 영향이 있음을 기억하고 자녀의 자아가 잘 발달 할 수 있도록 관심과 배려, 지지가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 자녀의 보육시설 적응에 미치는 영향을 이해하고 부모의 역할의 중요성을 통하여 맞벌이 부부의 양육방식에 대한 합리적인 대안을 찾고자 하는 데 의의가 있다.

Modern society has become an age when both women and men have to live together in the family life and work. The changes in the industrial society necessitate women's labor. Married women should participate in economic activities to supplement the economic needs of living expenses, child support and education expenses and so on. In these societies, dual-income couples need a social environment in which children can be born with peace of mind and those who are able to give birth should be willing to contribute to society by raising their own birth rate. In addition, mother’s parenting attitudes towards children such as attention, consideration and support are required to be remembered to parent themselves as mother's attitude affects infant’s entire life and future. In this study, it is meaningful to understand the impact on children's adaptation to child care facilities and to find a reasonable alternative in parenting style through the importance of parent's role among two-income couples.
