목적 : 안경광학과 임상실습 교육의 현황을 파악하고 이를 토대로 임상실습 교육의 내실화를 위한 구체적인 개 선방안을 제안하고자 하였다.
방법 : 안경광학과의 현행 임상실습 현황조사, 실습기관의 만족도 조사, 타 직군 임상실습 현황조사, 2차 안경 사 직무분석 결과를 분석하였다. 또한, 전문가들과 교육생들의 요구도를 조사하여 임상실습 교육을 개선하기 위한 구체적인 방안을 도출하였다.
결과 : 안경광학과 임상실습 운영현황은 42개 대학이 임상실습을 시행하고 있었으며 대부분 대학이 사전교육, 실습일지 등을 운영하고 있었다. 교과명, 이수학점, 시행 시기는 다르게 나타났다. 직무교육 내용은 42개 대학 중 14개(33.33%) 대학만 기재되었고 목적, 순서 등 단순한 내용으로만 기재되었다. 실습기관의 경우 임상실습 교육 은 전반적으로 만족하였으나 임상실습의 내실화와 표준화를 통해 교육의 만족도를 향상할 수 있는 구체적인 계획 이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 타 직군 보건의료인 현장실습 교육현황은 현장실습교육의 인식 부재, 교육과정의 표 준화 문제, 표준화된 현장실습 프로그램의 부재, 표준화된 현장실습 매뉴얼의 부재, 교육품질의 문제, 교육환경의 문제 등이 공통으로 제기되었다.
결론 : 안경사를 양성하기 위한 임상실습 교육이 형식위주로 진행되고 있으며, 체계적으로 이루어지고, 내실화 되기 위해서는 임상실습 운영 및 직무내용에 대한 구체적인 임상실습 매뉴얼이 필요하다.

Purpose : To understand the current clinical practice training in the department of optometry and based on this, to suggest a specific improvement for substantive improvement in clinical practice training.
Methods : The current clinical practice status survey of the department of optometry, the satisfaction survey of practice institutions, the status survey of clinical practice in other occupational groups and the optometrist’s 2nd job analysis were analyzed.
Results : As for the clinical practice operation status of the department of optometry, 42 universities were conducting clinical practice, and most of the universities were operating prior education and practice journals. Course names, credits completed, and implementation period were different. For job training contents, only 14 (33.33%) of 42 universities were listed, and only simple contents such as purpose and order were described. In the case of practice institutions, the clinical practice training was generally satisfactory, but it was found that a specific plan was needed to improve the satisfaction of the education through substantialization and standardization of clinical practice. The current status of on-the-job training for healthcare workers in other occupations is a lack of awareness of on-the-job training, the problem of standardization of the curriculum, and the absence of a standardized on-the-job training program and manual.
Conclusion : Clinical practice education for training optometrists is conducted in a formal way, and in order to be systematically implemented and substantiated, a specific clinical practice manual for clinical practice operation and job content is required.
