이 연구는 대학생들의 병역의식에 미치는 안보교육의 영향관계를 분석 하는 것이다. 2022년부터 2023년 3개 학기에 걸쳐서 안보관련 교양과목 을 수강한 212명을 연구대상자로 선정하여 안보교육과 병역의식에 대한 설문조사 방법을 시행하였다. SPSS 26.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 독립표 본 t-검정, 상관분석, 왜도와 첨도, 일원배치 분산분석(ANOVA)을 수행 하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 안보교육을 수강하기 전 대학생들의 병역의식 수준은 저조하였다. 둘째, 안보교육 수강 후 대학생들의 병역의식 수준이 유의미하게 증가하였다. 셋째, 안보교육은 병역의식에 통계적으로 유의미 한 관계와 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구를 통해서 징병제 국가인 한국에서 병 역의무 대상자들의 병역의식 고취를 위한 중요한 근거자료를 제공하고, 군 복무의 당위성을 확보할 수 있는 국방 및 교육정책 수립과 논의에 시 발점이 될 것으로 사료된다.

This study analyzes the influence of security education on college students' military service consciousness. 212 people who took security-related liberal arts courses in three semesters from 2022 to 2023 were selected as the subjects of the study, and a survey method on security education and military service consciousness was conducted. Using SPSS 26.0, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, skewness and kurtosis, independent sample t-test, and ANOVA were performed. As a result of the analysis, first, the level of military service awareness among college students before taking security education was low. Second, after taking security education, the level of military service awareness of college students increased significantly. Third, security education had a statistically significant relationship and effect on military service consciousness. Through this study, it is expected to provide important evidence for raising military service awareness of those subject to military service in Korea, a conscription country, and to be the starting point for the establishment and discussion of defense and education policies.
