욥의 고난에 관한 논쟁의 중심에는 ‘행위화복관계사상(Tun- Ergehen-Zusammenhang)’이 있다. 이는 욥의 경건과 모범적인 신앙이 하나님의 은총에 대한 등가적 반응이라는 사탄의 도발적 질문과 세 친구의 집요한 추궁에 잘 드러난다. 욥의 신앙은 소위 ‘주고받기식 (give and take)’ 신앙일 뿐이라는 고발에 대해 하나님은 다소 즉흥적으 로 사탄의 분탕질을 허락하고 만다. 선교적 해석학은 하나님의 선교 관점에서 욥의 고난을 인류 보편적 차원의 주제로 수렴하거나 목회적으 로 적용하는 경향이 있는데 여기에는 모호한 측면이 많다. 본 고는 이와 같은 경향의 타당성에 의문을 제기하면서 부조리철학의 관점 (absurdism)이 전술한 모호함을 해소할 수 있다는 핵심 논지에 따른 욥의 언어 분석을 통해 행위화복관계사상과 선교적 해석학을 조명한다. 이를 통해 행위화복관계사상과 선교적 해석학이 가진 신학적, 해석학적 한계를 극복하는 하나의 가능성을 모색하고자 한다.

At the heart of the debate surrounding Job’s suffering is the concept of Tun- Ergehen-Zusammenhang, which is well manifested in Job’s piety and exemplary faith, amidst Satan’s questioning of it as an equivalent response to God’s grace and his three friends’ persistent probing. Job’s faith is portrayed as a form of ‘give and take’ faith, which forms the basis for Satan’s accusation, and God responds somewhat impulsively, allowing Satan’s mischief within certain limits. missional hermeneutics tends to converge Job’s suffering into a universal theme from a missio Dei, or apply it pastorally. However, this approach has many ambiguities. This paper raises questions about the validity of such a tendency while analyzing the language of Job through the perspectives of absurdism and a main thesis that can resolve the ambiguity will be discussed.
