임철초(任鐵樵)가 주석한 적천수천미(滴天隨闡微)를 살펴보면 이전의 격 국이론(格局理論)이나 용신론(用神論)의 한계에 대해서 비판하고 있다. 특히 임철초는 다른 사람의 명조(命造)와 자기 자신의 명조를 비교분석함으로써 명 리상담자가 단순히 기존의 이론체계만을 가지고 사주팔자(四柱八字)를 분석하 고 명리상담(命理相談)을 하면 오류에 빠질 수 있음을 지적하고 있다. 임철초의 주장처럼 사주명리학(四柱命理學)의 이론체계를 단순히 답습하는 경우에는 그 이론체계가 가지고 있는 한계로 인해서 명리상담자는 명리상담을 할 때 오류에 빠질 수 있다. 그리고 상담자가 단순히 길흉의 방향성만을 추론 하기 위해서 노력한다면 실질적으로 내담자에게 올바른 선택의 기준을 제시하 기 어렵다. 그렇다면 어떻게 접근해야만 이런 오류에 빠지지 않을 수 있을까? 명리상 담은 반드시 실증적인 검증을 통해서 사주명리학이 지닌 이론의 정당성을 확보해야 한다. 논자는 이런 관점에 매우 충실하게 서술된 명리서가 바로 적천 수천미라고 본다. 특히 임철초는 적천수천미 안에서 518,400가지의 명조 중에 기존 이론으로 바로 해석이 가능한 명조들뿐만 아니라 기존의 이론체계 로 설명할 수 없는 명조들까지 대비하여 배치하고 실증적인 방법을 통해서 설명을 하고자 노력했다. 이런 적천수천미의 내용을 보면 임철초가 많은 임 상경험이 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 논자는 적천수천미에 나와 있는 임 철초의 주석을 중심으로 사주명리학의 상담원리를 밝히고자 했다. 특히 임철 초는 자신이 내담자로서 명리상담을 받은 경험을 밝히고 있으므로 상담자의 입장이 아닌 내담자의 입장에서 어떻게 상담이 진행되는 것이 옳은지 파악할 수 있는 단초를 제공하고 있다. 임철초는 자신이 직접 명리상담을 받는 과정에서 들었던 화려한 미사여구 와 무의미한 칭찬은 내담자에게 아무런 도움이 되지 않는다고 주장하고 있다. 이런 임철초의 주장을 보면 명리상담에서 상담자는 내담자에게 유능하고 정 직한 조언자로써 역할을 수행해야함을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 앞으로 사주명리 학은 단순히 길흉을 맞추기 위한 노력보다 개인의 삶을 윤택하게 만들고 올 바른 방향으로 나아갈 수 있도록 도와주는 조언자 역할에 좀 더 집중할 필요 가 있다. 주제어: 임철초(任鐵樵), 적천수천미(滴天隨闡微), 상담(相談), 명리학(命理學), 사주팔자(四柱八字).

If you look at Di Tian Sui Chan Wei(滴天隨闡微), which was commented by Ren tie qiao (任鐵樵), it criticizes the limitations of the previous Geju theory(格局論) or Yong shen theory(用神論). In particular, Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵) compares and analyzes other people's Mingzao(命造) with their own Mingzao(命造), pointing out that ordinary counselors can fall into error simply by analyzing Sizhubazi(四柱八字) with the existing theoretical system. If general counselors simply follow the theoretical system of the sizhu Mingli (四柱命理)'s theory as claimed by Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵), general counselors may fall into error due to the limitations of the theoretical system. And if the counselor tries to deduce only the direction of the good and bad, it is practically difficult to present the right criteria of choice to the client. So how can we not fall into these errors only by approaching them? Ming-li Counseling must ensure the legitimacy of the sizhu Mingli(四柱命 理)'s theory through empirical verification. I believes that the famous book, which is very faithfully described in this view, is Di Tian Sui Chan Wei(滴天隨闡微) In particular, Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵) tried to explain through empirical methods not only those that can be interpreted directly from the existing theories but also those that cannot be explained by the existing theoretical system in Di Tian Sui Chan Wei(滴天隨闡微). And the contents of this book show that Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵) has a lot of clinical experience. Therefore, i was intended to reveal the principle of counseling in Sizhu Mingli's theory, focusing on the annotations of Im Cheol-cho, which are shown in Di Tian Sui Chan Wei(滴天隨闡微). In particular, Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵) reveals his experience of receiving the Mingl(命理)i counseling as a client. Therefore, it provides the basis for understanding how it is right for the counsels to proceed from the perspective of the client. Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵) argues that the colorful rhetoric and meaningless praise he heard in the course of his own Mingli counseling are of no help to a client. Ren tie qiao(任鐵樵)'s argument shows that the counselor should play a role as a competent and honest advisor to a client in the Mingli counseling session. Therefore, in the future, Sizhu Mingli(四柱命理) needs to focus more on the role of advisor to help enrich one's life and move in the right direction rather than simply making efforts to say good or bad.
