본 논문은 선교적 해석학을 해석자의 존재론적·윤리적 응답으로 재정의하며, 이를 타자성, 다양성, 탈본질주의라는 세 가지 신학적 개념을 중심으로 전개한다. 기존 선교적 해석학이 성경 안의 선교 주제 식별에 집중해온 방식에 대해 비판적으로 성찰하고, 하르텐슈타인과 후켄다이크의 하나님의 선교(Missio Dei)에 대한 급진적 해석을 근거로 그 외연을 확장한다. 이러한 접근이 세계기독교 담론과 긴밀하게 연결됨을 밝힌다. 특히 선교적 해석학이 단지 의미를 분석하는 기술이 아니라, 해석자의 삶과 존재의 신학적 방식으로 타자 앞에 응답하는 책임적 존재로 서야 함을 요청하는 것이며, 해석은 교회 담론의 경계를 넘어 세계기독교의 다양한 구조 안에서 열린 방식으로 이루어져야 한다고 주장한다.

This study redefines missional hermeneutics as an ontological and ethical response of the interpreter, not merely a method for identifying mission themes in Scripture. Grounded in three key concepts-otherness, diversity, and post- essentialism-it critiques traditional approaches and expands the scope of missional hermeneutics by engaging radical interpretations of ‘Missio Dei’. This perspective aligns with the discourse of World Christianity, calling interpreters to respond ethically to the Other. Missional hermeneutics must move beyond ecclesial boundaries and operate within global plurality. Ultimately, it is proposed not as a methodology, but as a theological mode of life and being for the interpreter.
