본 연구에서는 참여동기, 교육 만족도, 행복감 사이에 정적인 관계가 있다는 선행연구를 바탕으로 해당 기 제를 밝히고자 하였다. 꽃차 교육 기관 및 사설 연구소 등에서 꽃차 교육에 참여한 205명을 대상으로 설문조 사 하였으며, 꽃차 교육 참여 동기는 활동 지향형, 목표 지향형, 학습 지향형으로 각 세 가지 요인으로 분류되 었다. 교육 만족도는 교육 내용, 방법, 환경, 강사에 대한 만족과 같이 네 가지 요인으로 분류되었으며, 행복감 은 한 요인으로 평정되었다. 이 요인들의 관계를 규명하기 위해 다중 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. t-검정과 분산 분석을 통해 연구 대상자의 인구 통계적 특성별 차이를 비교하였고 교차분석을 실시하여 이 특성 간의 집단 별 차이를 비교하였다. 분석 결과, 참여 동기, 교육 만족도, 행복감의 요인들은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째로, 인구 통계적 특성에 따른 참여 동기, 교육 만족도, 행복감의 평균 차이 를 보았을 때 모든 요인에서 여성의 평균이 남성 보다 높았고, 특성들 사이에서 목표 지향형 참여 동기에서만 연령 및 직업 유무에 따른 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 연구 대상자의 인구 통계적 특성 간의 관계를 살펴보았을 때, 지속의사가 성별, 연령대, 교육 과정에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구는 꽃차에 대한 효능이나 기능성에 비해 다소 활발히 연구 되지 않은 꽃차 교육 참여자들에 대한 실증적인 연구이며, 나아가 이들의 참여자들의 심리적 요소를 파악하여 만족도가 높은 다양한 꽃차 교육 프로그램 개발과 운영에 기초자료를 제공한다는 점 에서 의의가 있다.

This study investigated the relationship among participation motivation, education satisfaction, and happiness of people who attended flower tea classes at community centers and/or private flower tea classes. Data were collected from 205 students and we used multiple regression analysis to examine the relationships among aforementioned variables. In this study, 3 different orientations were examined in the participation motivation: activity orientation, goal orientation, and learning orientation. Education satisfaction was divided into 4 factors: education content, method and environment, and satisfaction of lecturer. Happiness was tested as one single factor. Results showed that a) participation motivation positively affected education satisfaction and happiness, b) education satisfaction had positive effects on happiness. ANOVA and t-test were used to estimate the relationship between participation motivation, education satisfaction, and happiness and, the demographic characteristics. Results indicated that these variables had different effects on age, occupation level of education information method, and intention to continuing of participants.
