        Teeth and bones are highly mineralized tissues containing inorganic minerals such as calcium phosphate, and a growing number of evidences show that their mineral content is associated with many diseases. Although the quantification of mineral contents by micro-computed tomography(micro- CT) has been used in diagnosis and evaluation for treating bone diseases, its application for teeth diseases has not been well established. In this study, we attempted to estimate a usefulness of a high-resolution micro-CT in analysis of human teeth. The teeth were scanned by using the Skyscan 1172 micro-CT. In order to measure tooth mineral content, beam hardening effect of the machine was corrected with a radiopaque iodinecontaining substance, iodoacetamide. Under the maximum resolution of 6.6 μm, X-ray densities in teeth and hydroxyapatite standards were obtained with Hounsfield unit (HU), and they were then converted to an absolute mineral concentration by a CT Analyzer software. In enamel layer of cusp area, the mean mineral concentration was about 2.14 mg/mm3 and there was a constant mineral concentration gradient from the enamel surface to the dentinoenamel junction. In the dentin of middle 1/3 of tooth, the mean mineral concentration was approximately 1.27 mg/mm3 and there was a constant mineral concentration gradient from the outer of root to the pulp side, ranging from 1.3 to 1.06 mg/mm3. In decay region of dentin, the mineral content was gradually decreased from the intact inner side to the decayed surface. These results suggest that high-resolution micro-CT can be as a useful tool for non-invasive measurement of mineral concentration in teeth.

        Functional inner-wear being currently sold is being made without regard to the characteristics of various sports events. The purpose of this study is to identify this problem and to investigate the effect of sports taping on golf swing when wearing functional inner-wear. The subjects of this study were 8 male golfers belonging to Korea Professional Golf Association, and Launch monitor and Trackman were used to find out golf club action, ball pitch, distance, etc. There are three types of clubs: driver, wood, and iron, and the first experiment was carried out using only functional inner-wear. In the second experiment, we experimented with functional inner-wear after sports taping, and we compared and analyzed the distance depending on each experiment, the speed of the ball and the club, and the accuracy of the club face. The results of the study were as follows. As a result of driving distance, according to the presence of sports taping on functional inner-wear, there was a statistically significant difference in the driving swing and wood swing, for club and ball speed, there was a statistically significant difference only in the driving swing. Regarding the accuracy by the presence of sports taping on inner-wear, there was a statistically significant difference in the driving swing, wood swing, and iron swing. In conclusion, the sports taping in the functional inner-wear had a positive effect on golf performance improvement, and we hope that golf inner-wear these two specifications combing will be developed in the future.

        본 연구에서는 방사성폐기물 처분장이 건설·운영되고, 폐쇄 후 제도적 관리기간이 끝나게 되어 그 곳에 처분장이 존재한다 는 사실과 위해(hazard)의 정도가 잊혀 지면서 무의식적인(inadvertent) 처분장 인간침입이 일어날 경우 이를 어떻게 평가할 것인지에 대해 기술하였다. 처분장 인간침입을 평가하기 위한 전제조건을 국내 또는 국제적으로 권고한 사항에 근거하여 설 정하고 처분장 인간침입 평가방법론에 대해 기술하였다. 처분장 인간침입 평가 방법론에서는 사회적요인, 인간침입 시나리 오, 방지대책 도출시 상호 관계에 대해 언급하였으며, 시나리오 도출절차에 대해서도 언급하였다. 인간침입 방지대책을 도 출하기 위한 절차를 네 단계로 구분하여, 기본 정보를 도출하는 방법, 일반방지대책을 도출하는 방법, 후보방지대책을 도출 하는 방법, 정형화된 시나리오를 고려하여 최종적으로 인간침입 방지대책을 도출하는 방법 등에 대해 체계적으로 기술하였 다. 본 연구에서 도출된 인간침입 평가 방법론은 향후 인간침입의 가능성을 감소시키고 인간침입 발생 시 위해를 줄이기 위 한 방지대책 마련 시 유용하게 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

        방사성폐기물 심지층 처분시스템의 안전성평가에서는 일반적으로 정상 시나리오 이외에 심지층 처분시스템이 외부 요인에 의해서 영향을 받는 비정상 시나리오를 추가적으로 고려하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 방사성폐기물 심지층 처분시스템의 비정 상 시나리오를 포함하는 복합피폭 시나리오에 대한 안전성평가를 위하여 비정상 시나리오를 구성하는 비정상 사건으로 지 진의 국내 발생 특성을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여, 국내(한반도)의 지진 자료에 대한 통계·확률적인 접근법으로 발생 특성을 조사하고, 이를 통해 미래의 지진 발생 특성을 예측하는 방법론과 함께 계산 예를 소개하였다. 그 결과, 국내 연간 지진 발생 빈도는 자료의 종류에 따라 그리고 최소 유효 지진규모에 따라 0.4 /yr에서 36.2 /yr까지 넓게 분포되었다. 최종적으로, 처분 시스템 안전성평가의 보수성 측면에서 위의 범위 내 최대값인 36.2 /yr가 국내 연간 지진 발생 빈도로써 제안되었고, 처분시 스템의 면적비를 고려하여 처분시스템 영향 반경 내 연간 지진 발생 빈도는 5.4×10-4 /yr로 계산되었다. 그리고, 이때의 최소 유효 지진 규모는 2.3이었다. 본 연구는 앞으로 비정상 사건들이 처분시스템에 미치는 영향에 대한 추가 연구와 함께 향후 복합피폭 시나리오를 고려한 심지층 처분시스템의 안전성평가 신뢰도 향상에 크게 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

        In the safety assessment of the geological disposal system of the radioactive wastes, the abnormal scenarios, in which the system is impacted by the abnormal events, need to be considered in addition to the reference scenario. In this study, characterization and prediction of well intrusion as one of the abnormal events which will impact the disposal system were conducted probabilistically and statistically for the safety assessment. The domestic well development data were analyzed, and the prediction methodologies of the well intrusion were suggested with a computation example. From the results, the annual well development rate per unit area in Korea was about 0.8 well/yr/km2 in the conservative point of view. Considering the area of the overall disposal system which is about 1.5 km2, the annual well development rate within the disposal system could be 1.2 well/yr. That is, it could be expected that more than one well would be installed within the disposal system every year after the institutional management period. From the statistical analysis, the probabilistic distribution of the well depth followed the log-normal distribution with 3.0363 m of mean value and 1.1467 m of standard deviation. This study will be followed by the study about the impacts of the well intrusion on the geological disposal system, and the both studies will contribute to the increased reliability of safety assessment.

        본 연구의 목적은 해석적 방법을 통하여 내화 재료의 특성을 파악하고 섬유 강화 폴리머로 보강된 철근콘크리트의 보의 적절한 내화설계 방법을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 내화재료의 가열실험을 실시하고 유한요소해석을 통해 열전도율과 비열을 구하고 또한 고온에서 FRP로 보강된 철근콘크리트 보 실험체에 대한 유한요소 해석을 통해 실험결과와 해석결과를 비교하였다. 이 과정에서 실험과 해석적 접근의 신뢰성을 확인하였다. 최종적으로 FRP로 보강된 철근콘크리트 보의 열적특성을 제안된 해석 방법으로 분석하고 고온으로 감소된 휨내력을 계산하였다. 최종적으로 제안된 방법을 이용하여 FRP로 보강된 부재에서 고온 노출시 열특성을 반영한 부재의 열전도를 파악하고 이를 이용하여 내력을 산정할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.
