Until now, in case of Palaearctic region, only one species, Nesendaeus monochrous in this genus was recorded from China. but the biology and life cycle are not clearly known, yet. This species collected from the bud of Glochidion chodoense in Korea for the first time and closely related to Heterochyromera imerodeus Kojima & Morimoto which was recorded only in Japan,. But Nesendaeus monochrous is easily distinguishable from H. imerodeus by the relatively longer elytra with bisinuately round apices. Heterochyromera imerodeus Kojima & Morimoto can be found from Eurya emarginata and Glochidion obovatum in Japan. So, this two species are closely related each other and need more taxonomic study about the generic synonymy or changing the generic position.

For the development of food fermented with L. edodes mycelium of natural medicinal herb remnants, determined to be 20%, and the product were used after lyophilization. In this study, we were analyzed the contents of β-glucan and amino acids of fermented herb remnants by L. edoeds mycelials. β -Glucan is a type of polysaccharide that has immune-enhancing and is known to inhibit cancer cells. The content of β-glucan and total amino acids of fermented herb remnants by L. edoeds mycelials were 35.13% and 8,697.36 mg%, respectively. The content of essential amino acid from fermented herb remnants by L. edoeds mycelials was 3,226.85 mg%. Collectively, our findings suggest that fermented herb remnants by L. edoeds mycelials extract could be used as an chemo-preventive material for consumers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of the creation of indoor gardens in elementary, middle, and high-schools in Gyeongsangnam-do (province) as part of a program to make schools comfortable and beautiful, and for use as base line data when introducing indoor gardens to schools. The participating schools comprised all 536 elementary, 306 middle, and 191 high schools in Gyeongsangnam-do, and the study was conducted between Dec. 20th, 2014 and July 23rd, 2015. The results demonstrate that indoor gardens were introduced to Gyeongsangnam-do schools in 2010, and, since then, 35 elementary and 3 middle schools have created indoor gardens, which is a low adoption rate. Eight-four percent of these indoor gardens were created for appreciation purposes only, without rest facilities. Indoor plants were the main material used for scene configurations, followed by rocks and sculptures. Taking into consideration that 92% of all indoor gardens were created in elementary schools, the current location of gardens near the main entrance, mainly for appreciation purposes, should be changed to areas in which students can play and rest, which would lead to an increase in students’ usage rate.
