미디어 산업과 팬덤 문화의 결합으로 탄생한 팬덤 플랫폼은 팬 활동의 중심 무대를 변화시키며 문화콘텐 츠산업의 풍경을 새롭게 조성하고 있다. 전통적으로 다양한 채널에 분산되어 있던 팬 활동들이 이제 팬덤 플랫폼으로 집중되어, 팬 활동의 대부분이 팬덤 플랫폼을 통해 진행되고 있다. 새로운 팬덤 플랫폼들이 시 장에 진입하며, 이들은 단순한 팬 서비스를 넘어서는 다양한 기능과 통합된 경험을 제공하고 있다. 이러한 흐름을 고려할 때, 앞으로의 팬덤 플랫폼의 발전 방향과 영향력의 변화를 자세히 분석하고 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 그리고 팬덤 플랫폼의 발전과 확산은 엔터테인먼트 산업에 혁신적인 변화를 불러오고 있으며, 이에 대한 깊이 있는 이해와 적응이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 팬덤 플랫폼이 무엇인지, 팬들이 이에 어떻게 반응하는지, 그리고 이와 관련된 산업적 가능성과 한계를 탐구하고, 팬덤 플랫폼의 미래 전망 에 대해 논의하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 팬덤 플랫폼이 문화콘텐츠산업에 미치는 영향과 이에 따른 산업적 변화를 이해하고자 한다.

Recently, K-pop is leading the development of Korean pop culture. And it has established itself as a culture that is accepted and maintained voluntarily by the public worldwide. Cultural development in a region is important because it is a product of the social quality of society. With the debut of ‘Seo Taiji and Boys’ in 1992, the idol group music began in Korea. At present, BTS has formed a global fandom and has become one of the most successful cases among Hallyu content. Therefore, for the development of Korean pop music industry, this study analyzes in various ways what strategies of BTS have made them successful.

Cultural industry has grown into a pivotal part of the knowledge economy and it characteristically allows high employment of young population with high education and at the same time is a labor-intensive industry that yields high added values. For these reasons, it has been regarded as an industry that can be an answer to ever worsening problems of youth unemployment and deteriorating employment quality in the service industry sector. The Korean government has established and enacted government-level supporting policies to foster the cultural industry, especially in the 2000s. In the process, a supporting system for start-up businesses in the cultural industry was implemented to foster one-person culture businesses, focusing on the supporting system for start-up businesses established by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA). This study will look into possible solutions to some problems that occurred in the course of implementing supporting policies for cultural industry and will see if there could be alternatives to them.

Cultural content industry, which has its basis on sensitivities and creative activities of humans, is a newly rising industry, and its importance is getting more and more recognition. In order help it develop a different approach from those to other industries is needed. What should be noted about it is that, unlike other conventional manufacturing industries it values humans’ cultural creativity and that it is a high value-added industry. The cultural content industry is now positioning itself as an important axis of the drive for economic growth of South Korea. For this reason, it is necessary to systematically rearrange studies on the need for cultural content industry. For this the followings should precede: understanding of its development directions and a thorough knowledge about its characteristics, a close examination on the South Korean government’s promoting policies for cultural content industry, and effective policy establishment.

In order for the cultural content industry to prosper, what are needed, above all, are educational and systematic support in environment where creating cultural content is encouraged. The cultural content industry reflects the interaction between art and society.In South Korea, this industry is now at a turning point with the passing of fundamentallaws on cooperatives. This study will analyze the content of these laws on cooperativesand the characteristics of cultural content industry by examining why the cooperativesystem should be introduced. It will also analyze certain functions that cultural contentcooperatives perform and by doing so, will show that the industry can flourish when cooperatives in cultural content sectors are fostered and through this, a stable and sustainable business infrastructure can be created.
