This paper presents various information technologies of software product evaluation such as process for evaluators, process for developers, and process for acquirers. This study also introduces system life cycle processes and its application guide.

Among Information Communication Technology (ICT) applications in education, Project-based Learning (PBL) is regarded as an effective intervention in the area of science and technology education. In this article, we present PBL classroom experiments using robot-oriented concepts to motivate students' interests describing what they do in PBL classes, how they create their ideas and products, and how their attitudes toward robot use have changed.

This article provides a brief description of the vision and implementation timetable for the iriformation and communication technology (JCT) education policy in Hong Kong. The author examines the effects on teaching and learning of a schoolclosing crisis resulting from the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). The findings were that most schools in Hong Kong were still at the elementary stage of using JCT in education. Ambitiously introduced by the Hong Kong government in 1998, all pre-service teachers are to attain the upper intermediate level of information technology (IT) competency in education as a qualification before entry into the teaching profession (Education and Manpower Bureau, 1998). This level focuses on the effective use of IT across the curriculum and using IT in a meaningful educational context to maximize the effectiveness of the instructional process. This article discusses how the proactive strategy of information technology competency education (ITCE) empowerment and the teaching subject study (TSS) portfolio assessment system have been successfully implemented in the post-graduate program of primary teacher education at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. It also examines how students begin to make sense of their newly acquired IT knowledge, skills, and attitudes and how they have demonstrated their competency in the use of IT. Quantitative and qualitative evaluation data were gathered and it was found that students were accomplished in gaining positive and valuable insights in the use of IT in education.

Malaysian secondary school teachers' readiness to use Information Communication Technology (ICT) is considered a critical skill in terms of national goals for schools that will prepare students to compete in the knowledge economy of the 21st century. The study investigated 303 teachers' ICT readiness in terms of their basic ICT knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards ICT. Data were collected via the Teachers' ICT Readiness instrument which consisted of an ICT knowledge test, an ICT skills test, and attitude towards ICT questionnaire. The results indicated that the majority of teachers had a moderate level of basic ICT knowledge and skills. A majority of the teachers too had a positive attitude towards ICT. Discussion and recommendations focus on the need to capitalize on the positive attitudes to turn these into action, increasing readiness to use ICT.

China has been moving rapidly to improve the use of information technology in elementary and secondary schools, progressing in stages from offering basic computer programming courses to creating networked schools with information technology integrated into the whole curriculum. By 2003, in the developed regions of the country, 70 percent of teachers applied information technology to their classes often. In the Tenth Five Year Plan (2001 - 2005), the Chinese government gave priority to the construction of information technology infrastructure. By 2003 the ratio of elementary school students to computers was 12:1 in the most developed regions and 373:1 in the least developed. At the high school level the range was from 8:1 to 18:1. One goal is to equalize educational opportunities across the geographic regions, which now vary greatly As part of this education improvement initiative, the central government will undertake a number of programs, including an ICT development project in village schools, aimed at improving staff development, school management, and instructional quality and efficiency. According to the new teacher training plan, normal universities will make full use of face-to-face education and distance education to lay the groundwork for improved instructional resources and form an instructional network for village and city teachers. Those regions which have been well equipped with computers and school networks will develop network training and TV training. The purpose of these efforts is to effect modernization in education, meaning the improvement of educational efficiency and effectiveness and the promotion of more learner-centered instruction.

RFID 기술개요 및 요소기술, 국내외 표준화 동향 및 응용분야를 소개한 후 해상분야에서 RFID 활용방안을 소개하였다. 해상분야에서 주요 응용영역으로는 선용품 재고관리의 자동화, 컨테이너의 관리, 화물창 상태관리, 이동통신망을 이용한 연안선박의 관리방안 등을 들 수 있다. 결과적으로 기존의 이용가능한 유무선 통신망에 RFID시스템을 효과적으로 적용한다면 선박운항의 효율화, 해양안전 확보 및 해양환경 보호에도 많은 기여를 할 것이다.

This paper aims to examine the main factors of the organizational climate and analyze their effects on job involvement. To accomplish these purposes, the main factors of the organizational climate such as diversity, autonomy, redundancy, connectivity and flexibility were found from the previous studies. The questionaries of 350 were distributed to the employees working at the Gumi Industrial Complex. The questionaries of 298 were obtained and 267 were analyzed through frequencies, correlation and multiple regression. The results of this study are as followings; First, we conducted exploratory factor analysis for five constructs (diversity, autonomy, redundancy, connectivity and flexibility) using oblique rotation method that did not assume independence among the factors and main factors of knowledge management were grouped together by five factors. Second, it is shown that fore main factors of organizational climate have a positive influence on the job involvement (p<0.05). This study, however, have limitations of number of sample and survey area. The future study should consider these limitations in improving model applicability in practice.

The following paragraph is extracted from an email message written by a German medical doctor working in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since 1999. I was impressed the most by a 15-year-old boy who arrived out of the bush in a health center complaining about lower-right abdominal pain. Due to the possibility of an appendix infection, he had to be transferred to the hospital. But the sea was rough, and he had to wait for two days at the health center. Then a so-called banana boat, a boat with an outboard motor, brought him in a 6-hour trip to Vunapope [a town in PNG]. Even for healthy people such a trip with all the up and down is not a pleasure. As it turned out, the appendix had broken through and quite some pus had collected in his abdomen. In spite of the pain medication, the trip on the boat must have been hell for the boy, but he endured it courageously. The doctor regularly reports about her life and adventures in PNG to her friends and sponsors viaemail. The stories in her e-mail messages are often fascinating and sometimes heartbreaking. Life m PNG is far beyond what some of us can imagine. This article reports on information technology (IT) in PNG, particularly as it affects education and cultural development. The findings are based on data collected from the medical doctor and a school principal, both currently working in PNG. The purpose of the article is not to present sophisticated research results but to offer a glimpse of IT culture in PNG. It starts with a brief overview of IT in developing countries and then focuses on PNG.

In this paper, among the W-S-R relationship methods proposed by Lee, et. al., (2020) to produce rain-based rain information in real time, we tried to produce actual rain information by applying machine learning techniques to take into account the effects of wiper operation. To this end, rain sensor proposed the Graded Descent and Threshold Map method for pre-processing the cumulative value of the difference before and after wiper operation by utilizing four sensitive channels for optical sensors developed by Kim Byung-sik (2016) and using rain sensor data produced by five rain conditions in indoor artificial rainfall experiments. This method is the method of producing rainfall information by calculating the average value of the Threshold according to the rainfall conditions and channels, creating a Threshold Map corresponding to the grid 4 (channel) x 5 (thinking of rainfall information) and applying Optima Rainfall Intensity among the big data processing techniques. For the verification of these proposed findings, the application was evaluated by comparing the rainfall observations with the methods presented by Lee, et. al., (2020).

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Denpasar City still face low mastery of technology and financial management, one of which is the application of technology-based accounting information systems (e-commerce) for small and medium enterprises. The research objective was to determine the relationship between environmental uncertainty, trust and ease of information technology moderating behavior in accounting information systems. Research with a quantitative approach, the method used is multiple linear regression with moderated regression analysis. The study population was 816 small and medium enterprises. The sampling method technique was the incidental sampling approach and the Slovin formula so that a sampling of 100 small and medium enterprises that had used e-commerce was determined in the city of Denpasar. The results of research that have been conducted determine the relationship between user behavior in accounting information systems that affect individual performance, the relationship between environmental uncertainty affects accounting information systems mediated by individual performance, while the ease of information technology and its ability to be mediated by individual performance has an effect on the behavior of using accounting information systems. The application of accounting information systems in small and medium enterprises is expected to improve individual performance so as to increase income.

The performance of a teacher has an important role in the success of education in general. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the decline in teacher performance in one of the junior secondary schools in Indonesia. Based on the literature review, four exogenous variables were identified, namely, training, utilization of information technology, intellectual intelligence, and emotional intelligence. This study uses primary data, collected from a questionnaire distributed to respondents. The questionnaire items are measured using a Likert scale. The sample in this study were all teachers at MTS Darul Falah Sirahan, totaling 32 people. The analysis technique used in testing the hypothesis of this study is multiple regression analysis. Statistical product and service solutions are used as analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that only the variable ‘utilization of information technology’ has a positive and significant effect. However, the variables ‘training,’ ‘intellectual intelligence,’ and ‘emotional intelligence’ did not have a significant effect. This finding contradicts the literature in general. Therefore, this study recommends improving training methods, both those carried out internally by schools and by related agencies, and schools still need to optimize guidance and potential for teacher’s intelligence in improving performance.
