        Submerged floating tunnel is an innovative tunnel infrastructure passing through the deep sea independent of wave and wind so that high speed vehicle or train can run. It doesn't depend on water depth and is cost effective due to modular construction on land. The construction period can be reduced drastically. In this paper, a concept design of submerged floating tunnel is introduced and a method to analyze structural behavior of the body in case of collision with ships or submarines is proposed for securing safety. In this study, the local damage and global behavior of submerged tunnel in collision with submerged moving body are simulated via commercial hydrocode LS-DYNA.

Recent studies show the actual shear capacity of the column of bridge is larger than industrial standards. In this study, truck-column collision model was developed and load carrying capacity of a column were evaluated.

        In this study, sensitivity analysis to investigate the effect on analytical results of the aircraft impact analysis parameter for the nuclear power plant was carried out. Verification of the analytical model and method using the test results was performed. The eroding parameter of the Winfrith concrete material model in LS-Dyna and modelling method of the SC wall structure were studied. Finally, these results are to be used for the development of the structural safety evaluation procedure for the aircraft impact on the nuclear power plant.

        According to NEI 07-13 R8, in aircraft impact analysis for new plant design, global structural damage of the target structure can be evaluated analytically using one of the following methods of evaluation: 1) Force time-history analysis method. 2) Missile-target interaction analysis method. It depends on the availability of data on the dynamic characteristics and the intended level of detail of analysis. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect on the analytical results of the aircraft impact analysis method. Several impact analyses using various method were performed for the simplified external SC wall of the APR+ nuclear power plant structure.

        This work was intended to test the collision of a 14-ton truck with a concrete protection wall and thus analyze fracture behavior of a protection wall. And, this work investigated fracture phenomena by modeling concrete protection walls in different levels of stress with the use of LS-DYNA. In addition, it analyzed fracture behavior of a protection wall by modelling concrete protection walls in the different installation heights of wire-mesh.

        선박충돌에 따른 동적특성을 분석하기 위하여 선박의 질량 및 속도에 따른 변화와 구조물의 재료 및 형상에 따른 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 해석을 통하여 선박과 구조물의 손상과 충돌하중-시간이력을 얻었다. 본 연구에서는 유한요소해석의 결과를 미국과 일본 및 유럽의 일부 국가에서 연구된 자료와 비교하였다. 동적특성들은 선박과 구조물의 상호작용에 따라 서로 달랐다. 선박-구조물 상호작용에 대해 많은 요소들이 영향을 미치는 것으로 보인다. 선박의 충격과 관련된 동적충격이 가해지는 동안의 재료와 구조물에 있어서의 비탄성거동에 대해서는 극히 미비한 정도의 정보만이 가용하기 때문에, 경험과 올바른 공학적 판단에 기반한 가정들을 사용하여야 한다. 따라서 선박과 구조물의 상호작용에 대한 보다 많은 연구가 필요하다.
