Based on IoT (Internet of Things) where its concept contains providing convenience to human life by connecting every objects around us, numerous projects have been done in civil engineering field. This paper has conducted the basic study on adopting IoT sensing technology and network system into harbor.

Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has developed the port facility management system(POMS) that can be run systematically manage safety inspection and maintenance results about the mooring facilities, counter facilities and pier pavement in a national 60 port. This paper contains a description of the POMS.

Based on the study of current status for domestic port facility management system, it was used to collect information for building the ocean & port facility integrated management system.

To design the program that can effectively support the port facilities management system for to reduce maintenance costs, to ensure the safety and to extend the age of the facilities(docking facilities, counter facilities, pavement etc.) by effective repair at the optimum time is the purpose of this study. The program was designed by considering the business processes of the system. The program was divided into the database and the operating programs, and composed of a total of five modules.
