        CO2/CH4을 분리하기 위한 기체분리막 소재 중 폴리이미드는 높은 기계적 강도, 내열성, 내화학성을 가지고 있으며 여러 기체에 대하여 우수한 투과선택성을 가지고 있다. 그러나 유기용제에 대한 낮은 용해성으로 인해 막을 제조할 때 많은 제약을 받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 cardo-type의 diamine을 이용하여 가용성 폴리이미드를 합성하였다. 또한, 합성된 폴리이미드의 성능을 향상 시키기 위해 다양한 dianhydride와 diamine 단량체를 첨가하여 폴리이미드 공중합체를 합성하였다. FT-IR을 통해 합성이 성공적으로 이루어졌음을 확인하였고, time-lag를 이용하여 CO2와 CH4의 기체투과특성을 알아보았다.

        In the present study, we have demonstrated that a novel synthetic chemical JSH-21 of N¹-Benzyl-4-methylbenzene-1,2-diamine could inhibit nitric oxide (NO) production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-activated macrophages RAW 264.7. The JSH-21 showed an IC50 value of 9.2 uM on the LPS-induced NO production. Furthermore, JSH-21 attenuated LPS-induced mRNA and protein levels of inducible NO synthase (iNOS) in the cells, as well as inhibited LPS-induced iNOS promoter activity. These results indicates hat the compound could down-regulate iNOS expression at the transcription level. Since NF-kB activation is a key mechanism in the expression of LPS-inducible iNOS gene, we further examined whether JSH-21 could affect LPS-induced NF-kB activation. JSH-21 inhibited LPS-induced nuclear import of NF-kB p65 in macrophages RAW 264.7 and sequentially prevented NF-kB transcriptional activity. However, JSH-21 was not effective in a LPS-induced degradation of cytoplasmic IkB-alpha in the cells. These results suggest that JSH-21 could inhibit LPS-induced NF-kB activation targeting nuclear import of NF-kB, an event downstream IkB degradation. Taken together, this study may provide a pharmacological potential of JSH-21 in the NO- or NF-kB-associated inflammatory disorders.

        We have prepared diamine-benzoquinone polymer which was known to excellent water proofing, high adhesion strength and good anti-corrosive effect, and have investigate with the possibility of application as a high performance resin for coatings. First of all, the reactivity of diamine-benzoquinone has been described an example of polymer reaction with research trend. The polymer reaction was divided into the polymerization with several diamine-benzoquinone and urethane group. The synthetic resin was shown a high solubility. In case of polymer containing urethane, water absorption content, water proofing and mechanical properties were controlled with the content, water proofing and mechanical properties were controlled with the content of quinone. It was shown that an use of choice was a possible result for various coatings. Diamine-quinone polymer can be used as a new resin for coatings. In addition, the polymer containing a functional group was shown a useful applicability as a high performance resin.
