        Many of companies have made significant improvements for globalization and competitive business environment The supply chain management has received many attentions in the area of that business environment. The purpose of this study is to generate realistic production and distribution planning in the supply chain network. The planning model determines the best schedule using operation sequences and routing to deliver. To solve the problem a hybrid approach involving a genetic algorithm (GA) and computer simulation is proposed. This proposed approach is for: (1) selecting the best machine for each operation, (2) deciding the sequence of operation to product and route to deliver, and (3) minimizing the completion time for each order. This study developed mathematical model for production, distribution, production-distribution and proposed GA-Simulation solution procedure. The results of computational experiments for a simple example of the supply chain network are given and discussed to validate the proposed approach. It has been shown that the hybrid approach is powerful for complex production and distribution planning in the manufacturing supply chain network. The proposed approach can be used to generate realistic production and distribution planning considering stochastic natures in the actual supply chain and support decision making for companies.

        Various inventory control theories have tried to modelling and analyzing supply chains by using quantitative methods and characterization of optimal control policies. However, despite of various efforts in this research filed, the existing models cannot afford to be applied to the realistic problems. The most unrealistic assumption for these models is customer demand. Most of previous researches assume that the customer demand is stationary with a known distribution, whereas, in reality, the customer demand is not known a priori and changes over time. In this paper, we propose a reinforcement learning based adaptive echelon base-stock inventory control policy for a multi-stage, serial supply chain with non-stationary customer demand under the service level constraint. Using various simulation experiments, we prove that the proposed inventory control policy can meet the target service level quite well under various experimental environments.

        In a real-life supply chain environment, demand forecasting is usually represented by probabilistic distributions due to the uncertainty inherent in customer demands. However, the customer demand used for an actual supply chain planning is a single deterministic value for each of periods. In this paper we study the choice of single demand value among of the given customer demand distribution for a period to be used in the supply chain planning. This paper considers distributed multi-echelon supply chain and the objective function of this paper is to minimize the total costs, that is the sum of holding and backorder costs over the distribution network under the service level constraint, by using demand selection scheme. Some useful findings are derived from various simulation-based experiments.

        Recently, a multi-facility, multi-product and multi-period industrial production-distribution planning problem has been widely investigated in Supply Chain Management (SCM). One of the key issues in the current SCM research area involves reducing both production and distribution costs. We have developed an optimization model to tackle the above problems under the restricted conditions such as transportation time and a zero inventory. Computational experiments using commercial tool Ms-Excel Solver show that the real size problems we encountered can be solved in reasonable time. The model can be used to decide an appropriate production-distribution planning problem in SCM research area.

        The aim of this study is to establish an efficient distribution planning for a capacitated multi-stage supply chain. We assume that the demand information during planning horizon is given a deterministic form using a certain forecasting method. Under such a condition, we present a cost effective heuristic method for minimizing chain-wide supply chain inventory cost that is the sum of holding and backorder costs by using look-ahead technique. We cope with the capacity restriction constraints through look-ahead technique that considers not only the current demand information but also future demand information. To evaluate performance of the proposed heuristic method, we compared it with the extant research that utilizes echelon stock concept, under various supply chain settings.

        Inter vivos in the context of wealth and estate planning can be generally defined as a transfer that takes place between the livings. Parents are motivated to transfer for altruisme and exchange. In this context, this study aims to explore another potential motives of inter vivos, which is „affection‟. Data is collected through semi-structured interviews with inter vivos experts who have published articles in this area. The interview is encoded and thematic analysis is carried out to classify themes and subthemes that exist in the inter vivos transfers. This study discovers four main themes, which indicate that inter vivos transfers based on affection can be enlightened by the relationship between parents and children, responsibility for children, types of inter vivos, and effects to other heirs. Relationship between parents and children can be explained as parents transfer their wealth to the closest children, children who care for them and to family members only. Parents also are responsible to protect their children after they die and assist them who are in need. Types of inter vivos are considered as boundless inter vivos and without any material return. Inter vivos based on affection also aims not to abuse other heirs.

        본 연구는 EBT3 필름을 이용하여 감마나이프 퍼펙션 모델의 3차원적인 선량분포 측정하고 기준값과 비 교 분석하여 표준화된 측정방법의 기초로 활용하고자 한다. 2개 종합병원에 설치된 감마나이프 퍼펙션 모 델의 선량 분포를 EBT3 필름을 이용하여 정확도와 정밀도를 평가하였다. 정확도 평가를 위해 4 ㎜ 콜리메터를 사용하여 기계적인 중심축과 선량중심축의 일치도를 측정하였다. A병원 0.098 ㎜, 0.195 ㎜ 이며 B 병원 0.229 ㎜, 0.223 ㎜ 로 허용 오차 0.3 ㎜ 이하로 측정되었다. 정밀도 평가는 4, 8, 16 ㎜ 콜리메터(collimater) 각각의 x, y, z 3차원면 에서의 반치폭(FWHM : Full Width at Half Maximum)을 이미지-제이 프로그램을 이용하여 평가하였다. A 병원은 –0.283∼0.583 ㎜, B 병원은 –0.857∼ 0.810 ㎜로 50%선 ± 1 ㎜ 이하의 기준에 적합하였다. 이미지−제이 프로그램을 이용한 선량 분포 분석의 경우 측정자 간의 오차가 발생 가능함으로 측정점에 대한 명확한 기준을 확립할 필요가 있으며, 감마나이프 방사선 수술이 시행되어지는 고선량 영역에서 사용 가능한 선량영역이 높은 필름을 이용한 치료계획과 실제 치료 조사면의 비교가 필요하다고 생각된다.
