Three different dogs who had immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) were treated for more than two weeks with blood transfusion in an animal clinic. Despite this treatment and hospitalization, there was no clinical improvement in clinical signs as well as complete blood cell count (CBC) including hematocrit (HCT) and C-reactive protein (CRP). All cases were then injected two or three times with allogeneic stem cells through an intravenous route for treatment. Upon administrating stem cells to the IMHA dogs, clinical conditions and the indexes of HCT and CRP were clinically improved within or close to normal ranges.
Inclusion complex of omeprazol with β-cyclodextrin and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin were prepared by coprecipitation and freeze-drying method respectively. Effects of these inclusion complex on RBCs were monitored with a spectrophotometer by the method of Kahan et al. and the mutagenic activity based on the Ames plate incorporation test in the presence and absence of liver microsomal enzyme(S9 fraction) using Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100. The RBCs hemolysis and mutagenic activity of these complex were not detected.
본연구는 Saponin의 적혈구 파괴작용을 이용하여 인삼내의 Saponin량의 간단한 분석법을 개발코저 실시 하였다. 1. 혈액으로서는 돼지, 토끼, 사람, 소피가 적합하다. 2. 닭피를 제외한 기타 혈액은 9 일간 4℃ 에 저장하였어도 Saponin정량검사에 사용 가능하다. 3. ginsenoside Rb1은 적혈구 파괴작용을 나타내나 ginsenoside -Re는 적혈양 파괴작용을 나타내지 않을 뿐만 아니라 ginsenoside-Rb1의 작용을 억제한다. 4. 본시험 결과 토끼피를 사용하였을 때의 인삼 Saponin량 측정 수식을 ' X=120u g V2/V1 로 책정할 수 있있다. (X : Sample내의 총Saponin량 V1 : 전체인삼 추출액량 V2 : Hemolysis를 일으키는 최저량)
