This study describes two new species, Desmoscolex (Desmoscolex) delticeps sp. nov. and Desmoscolex (Desmoscolex) obtusiseta sp. nov. Belonging to the subgenus Desmoscolex, they were discovered in subtidal habitats along the coast of Korea. Detailed morphological analyses of the two new species were conducted using differential interference contrast (DIC) microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). D. (D.) delticeps sp. nov. was collected from subtidal zones near Ulleungdo Island. It is characterized by a broadly triangular head with robust cephalic setae and centrally positioned oval amphidial fovea. Its somatic setae are arranged in 17 main rings. Its conical terminal ring ends in a long, uncovered spinneret. D. (D.) obtusiseta sp. nov. was collected from distant subtidal zones along the western coast. It is characterized by short, blunt cephalic setae situated on peduncles, a flattened anterior head, and an oval amphidial fovea with a central pore. Its somatic setae are arranged in 17 main rings. Its terminal ring tapers ventrally, ending in a short spinneret. This study highlights distinctive cephalic setae morphologies of these species, providing a deeper understanding of nematode diversity in Korean subtidal zones and contributing to the advancement of marine nematode taxonomy.

The genus Gonioctena Chevrolat, 1836 is one of the largest genera of the subfamily Chrysomelinae with approximately 110 valid species in nine subgenera distributed in the Holarctic and Oriental regions. The Gonioctena mauroi species-group of the subgenus Brachyphytodecta Bechyně, 1948 is proposed to include four species: Gonioctena mauroi Cho & Borowiec, 2016 (Vietnam), G. medvedevi Cho & Borowiec, 2016 (Vietnam), G. kuatunensis sp. nov. (China) and G. longshengensis sp. nov. (China). They are characterized by the presence of setae on the aedeagus, which is unique within the subgenus. A key to the species, habitus photographs, illustrations of diagnostic characters and a distribution map are provided. Ovoviviparity is newly recorded in G. longshengensis sp. nov.

Leptostrobus myeongamensis sp. nov. is newly described from the well-preserved but broken material occurring in the Upper Triassic Amisan Formation of the Nampo Group in Korea. This species is characterized by its lateral appendages of cone axis, each consisting of a rounded capsule and small scale leaf, and by its cone base covered with small scale leaves, the same size as in cone axis. This species is the first record from the Mesozoic strata in Korea.

Maliattha vialis species-group(Lepidoptera, Noctuidae, Acontiinae) is revised. Four species (Maliattha ninae sp. nov., M. dissimilis sp. nov., M. tapaishana sp. nov., M. ahni sp. nov.) from China are described as new to science. Three species of vialis group are distributed in Russian Far East and Japan, two of them are known from Korea, and eight species are known from China. The lectotype for M. bella staudinger, 1892 is designated.
