We report here the new species, Aphaenogaster koreana sp. nov. first fossil record of alate reproductive female (gyne) Aphaenogaster from Eastern Palaearctic region on the basis of forewing venation and other external morphologies. Single fossil specimen was discovered from the Duho Formation of the Middle Miocene (c.a 15 Ma), Pohang, Republic of Korea. For accurate identification, we selected extant Aphaenogaster species for reference and compared wing venations and body measurements to new species. Furthermore, we suggest previously recorded Aphaenogaster species from Miocene Grubstake Formation of Alaska (UAF-GS23, UAF-GS24) removed from the genus and remained in unplaced species in the Myrmicinae (incerta sedis). Because of similarity between genus Aphaenogaster and Paraphaenogaster which shares morphological similarities, we provide comparison between the new species and the other known gyne Aphaenogaster and Paraphaenogaster. Diagnostic characters for gynes of Aphaenogaster are also provided
The confused taxonomy of the east Palaearctic pear psyllids, serious pests on cultivated pear, is reviewed. Fifty-sixnominal species have been reported from Pyrus, 25 of which we consider valid and ten as not being associated withPyrus. Our taxonomic revision suggests that, in Korea, four Cacopsylla species develop on pear. Three species occuralso in Japan. New synonyms are suggested and seasonal dimorphism are critically discussed.Key words : Psyllidae, Cacopsylla, taxonomy, host plant, Pyrus, Rosaceae, Manchrian pear, Asian pear, European pear, China,Japan, South Korea, Russian Far East

The East Palaearctic genus Atrachea Warren, 1911 are revised. Two generic names Trichosternum Draudt, 1950, syn. n. and Zutragum Nye, 1975(replacement name for Trichosternum), syn. n. are synonymized with Atrachea. Three new combinations and new synonymies for two specific names are proposed: Atrachea prasinatra(Draudt, 1950), comb. n., Atrachea leucochlora(Boursin, 1970), comb. n., Atrachea munda(Leech, 1900) = Valeriodes muscosula Draudt, 1950, syn. n.; A. viridinigra(Hreblay et Ronkay, 1997), comb. n.; Atrachea ochrotica(Hampso, 1910) = Trichosternum likianga Draudt, 1950, syn. n. Two new species, A. draudti sp. n. and A. chlorofasciata sp. n. from China are described. A list of Palaearctic species of Atrachea is presented.
