근거리 작엽이 많이 요구되는 대학생 집단에서 비노안성 조절이상과 비사시성 양 안시 기능이상의 유병률과 그 분포에 대하여 알아보기 위해 1985년과 1986년에 출생 한 48명을 대상으로 조절기능검사와 폭주기능검사를 실시한 후 양안시 기능이상을 분석하였다. 연구대상의 43.7%(n = 2 1)가 조절 또는 양안시 기능이상이었는데 이중에서 양안시 기능이상이 35.4%(n = 17) 조절이상이 8.3%(n = 4) 로 나타났다. 양안시 기능이상 중에 서 는 폭주부족 (14.5% ， n 느 7), 기 본외 사위 (12.5%, n = 6), 폭주과다 (6.3% ， n = 3), 개 산과 다 (2.1% ， n = 1) 의 순으로 유명률이 나타났다. 유병률이 가장 높게 나타난 폭주부족은 6.2%(n = 3) 가 폭주부족， 6.2%(n = 3) 가 조절과다가 동반된 폭주부족 (CI+AE) ， 2.1% (n =1)가 조절부족이 동반된 폭주부족 (CI+AD 으로 나타났다. 또한 폭주과다에서는 4.2% (m = 2) 가 폭주과다， 2.1%(n = 1) 가 조절부족이 동반된 폭주과다로 나타났다. 조절이상 에 서 는 6.2%(n = 3) 가 조절과다 2.1%(n 二1)가 조절부족 (AD 으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 조절 또는 양안시 기능이상의 유병률은 외국의 관련 연구 결과와 비 교하였을 때， 현저하게 높은 수준으로 나타났으며 그 분포에서도 션행 연구 결과와는 다르게 나타났다. 이 결과로 대학생과 같이 근거리 작엽이 많이 요구되는 대상을 검 사할 때는 일반적인 굴절검사뿐만 아니라， 양안시 가능이상음 검출하기 위한 조절 및 폭주기능검사가 반드시 함께 수행되어져야함을 알 수 있다.

The purpose of this paper was to study the prevalence and the distribution of prepresbyopic accommodative and nonstrabismic binocular dysfunctions in a population of college students with heavy near visual demands. Of the 48 subjects examined, 21 patients(43.7%) had some form of accommodative or binocular dysfunctions. The frequency of binocular dysfunctions was 35.4%, and 8.3% for accommodative anomalies. 6.3%(n = 3) showed accommodative excess and 2.1%(n 二 1) showed accommodative insufficiency in accommodative disorders. Convergence insufficiency(14.5%) was the most prevalent, and then basic exophoria(12.5%). 6.3% had convergence excess. 2.1% showed divergence excess. These findings suggest that it is important to give a thorough eye examination to detect these accommodative and binocular dysfunctions in this population. And, there was significant difference in distribution of accommodative and binocular dysfunctions with previous studies.
