부등상시가 대비감도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 정시안을 가진 사람을 대상으로 우세안에 콘택트렌즈를 착용시켜 부동시를 유발하고, 안경렌즈로 교정한 후 발생한 부등상시를 대상으로 입체시 검사 및 원거리와 근거리, 명소시와 암소시의 조건으로 VCTS(Vistech Consultant INC)를 이용한 대비감도 검사를 실시하였다. 검사결과, 입체시는 7～9% 부등상시와 0% 부등상시 사이에서 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. VCTS 검사에 의한 대비감도는 7～9% 부등상시에서 모든 공간주파수에서 대비감도가 저하되는 것으로 나타났으며, 원거리와 근거리에 따른 대비감도의 변화는 뚜렷한 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과로 볼 때 7~9% 이상의 부등상시는 양안시에 의한 대비감도를 저하시킬 수 있는 요인으로 분석되었다.
In order to investigate how an aniseikonia affects contrast sensitivity, we have allowed an individual with emmetropia to wear contact lenses on the dominant eye to induce anisometropia, corrected the vision using spectacle lenses and then practiced stereo acuity divided by the rate of an induced aniseikonia. We have measured the contrast sensitivity with VCTS(vistech consultant INC, USA) test under the condition of distance vision, near vision, daylight illumination and scotopic illumination. As a result of stereo acuity examination, the study showed that an aniseikonia of 7-9% also does not reveal a significant difference from an aniseikonia of 0%. The result of examination of contrast sensitivity using VCTS showed that the contrast sensitivity in spatial frequency decreased under the condition of an aniseikonia of 7-9% and the difference of the contrast sensitivity was considerably noticeable between distance vision and near vision. From these results, it was analyzed that an aniseikonia of 7-9% are factors that can decrease the contrast sensitivity caused by binocular visions.
