목 적: 소프트콘택트렌즈의 색상유무와 착용시간에 따른 straylight변화와 시력에 미치는 영향을 알아보 고자 하였다.
방 법: 전신질환 및 안과적 수술경험이 없고 교정시력 1.0 이상인 만 19세 ~ 23세의 성인 남·여 25명을 대상으로 하였다. 재질 etafilcon A의 투명 콘택트렌즈와 칼라 콘택트렌즈를 착용하고 착용 10분 후와 착용 8시간 후의 straylight를 각각 3회 반복 측정하여 두 렌즈 간의 평균차이와 시간경과에 따른 변화를 평가하 였다.
결과 및 고찰: 투명 콘택트렌즈와 칼라 콘택트렌즈를 착용 후 straylight 측정 결과 착용 10분 후 통계적 으로 유의한 차이가 있으며(p=0.03), 착용 8시간 후 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다(p=0.00). 투명 콘택 트렌즈와 칼라 콘택트렌즈 모두 straylight변화는 착용시간에 영향을 받지 않았으며, 칼라 콘택트렌즈는 착용시간이 경과함에 따라 증가하였으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다.
결 론: 콘택트렌즈 착용으로 인해 straylight값이 증가하였으며 색상유무에 따라 straylight값이 영향을 받으며 시간경과에 따라 증가하지 않았다. 또한 칼라 콘택트렌즈 착용은 straylight증가에 영향을 주며 시력 의 질적 측정을 위해 대비감도검사 뿐 아니라 straylight측정도 함께 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

Purpose: The change of straylight with clear versus cosmetic soft contact lens according to time and the effect on visual acuity were analyzed.
Methods: Healthy twenty five young subjects( age 19-23 years ) were fitted with clear and cosmetic SCL( etafilcon A ). After wearing contact lenses after ten minutes and eight hours, using straylight measure instrument, the values were measured. Subjects were repeated three times and were analyzed the mean log MAR.
Results: The straylight values were statistically different between clear and cosmetic contact lens after wearing ten minutes ( p=0.03, p<0.05 ) and eight hours ( p=0.00, p<0.05 ). Subjects on clear SCL were no difference on the changes of straylight in relation to time. The straylight values of cosmetic SCL were statistically no difference according to time.
Conclusions: The straylight values of SCL were increased owing to color and were influenced for the color. The measure of straylight as well as contrast sensitivity visual acuity was suggested for examining the quality of visual acuity.
