본 연구는 살풀이춤에 내재된 정서의 구조를 탐색하고, 살풀이춤 정서를 표현하는 무용수와 이를 체험하는 관객의 정서 차를 검증하였다. 이에 453명의 연구대상자를 표집하여, 연구절차와 자료분석에 기초한 연구결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과 살풀이 춤 정서는 호감, 애정, 매혹, 애절, 고통, 상실, 고독, 냉담, 전율의 9개의 개별정서 구조를 내재하고 있으며, 이는 각각 3개의 개벌정서를 포함한 사랑, 탄식, 성찰의 복합정서로 위계화되었다. 또한, 한의 고차원적 정서 특성을 보인 살풀이 춤 정서는 무용수와 관객간 차이를 보여주었다. 마지막으로, 무용수는 살풀이춤을 출 때 애정정서를 높은 강도로 표현하였으며, 관객은 살풀이춤을 보고 호감, 고통, 고독, 전율 정서를 경험하는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 이러한 결과를 정서의 이론적 배경과 살풀이 춤 특성에 기준하여 논의하였다.

This study was conducted to explore the structure of emotion inherent in Salpuri dance and verify the emotional differences between a group of dancers expressing the emotion of Salpuri dance and a group of audience experiencing the performance. Thus, by sampling a total of 453 research subjects, this study drew research results based on the research procedure and data analyses. It was found there is a structure of 9 individual emotions inherent in Salpuri dance, such as likability, affection, attraction, mournfulness, anguish, loss, solitude, indifference and thrill, and this study investigated those 9 factors in 27 items. When analyzing confirmatory factors to verify the goodness-of-fit, this study found out that each model had a hierarchy of three complex emotions, love, moan and introspection. Lastly, when verifying differences in the emotional structure inherent to Salpuri dance between the two groups, this study found out that dancers expressed the emotion of affection in high intensity when dancing Salpuri dance, while audience experienced such emotions as likability, anguish, solitude and thrill when seeing the performance of Salpuri dance. The results of this study were discussed on the basis of the theoretical background of emotion and the characteristics of Salpuri dance. Besides, it was explained in a high-dimensional way that Salpuri dance typically possesses ``Han (deep-rooted grudge)`` which is the intrinsic emotional feature of the Korean people.
