본 연구는 창작무용학습이 유아의 지적 발달에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위하여 수행되었다. 피험자는 D지역의 유치원 두 곳의 유아 만 4,5,6세로 총 69명이었고 실험집단과 통제집단으로 임의 배정하였다. 실험집단의 무용학습은 주 3회 40분씩 12주간 실시하였으며 실험집단과 통제집단의 지능발달 차이를 알아보기 위하여 학습전과 후 지능검사를 하였다. 검사지는 김재은의 유아지능검사 B형으로 실시하였다. 통계분석은 지능발달의 차이를 규명하기위하여 각 지능점수의 평균과 표준편차를 제시하였고 집단간, 연령별, 성별 사전․사후지능점수의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 독립과 반복 t-test를 각각 실시하였다. 모든 통계처리의 유의수준은 .05로 하였다. 결과는 첫째, 창작무용을 학습한 집단이 통제집단보다 지능발달에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 두 집단간의 연령별(4,5,6세) 지능발달차이는 4세, 5세, 6세 모두에서 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 두 집단간에 성별 지능발달은 남여 유아 모두에 차이가 있었다.
The purpose of this study was to determine the influence on intelligence development for infants which dependent on the learning creative dance or not. First of all, subjects were chosen kindergarten infant at the age of 4,5 and 6. They were randomly assigned 12 persons for each group to experimental group and control group. The experimental groups dance training has been kept for 40 minutes 3 times a week for 12 week in order to recognize the difference of intelligence development between experimental group and control group. Intelligence Quotient test was performed by dividing before and after the learning. Mean and Standard Deviation were computed about intellectual development, to determine the difference, and t-test was performed by group: contrast, and the following conclusion was came up according to paired sample t-test, in case of inspecting the difference by age and sex of the group. 1. AS for the intellectual development of infants by the learning of creative dance or not, the experimental group showed the higher intellectual development than the other group. 2. The result according to the ages(4,5and 6) in between experimental group and control group showed that four and six-year-old infants group show much difference. 3. As for Intellectual development according to the sex between experimental group and control group, in case of male infants it has progressed. Meanwhile, there was difference in case of female infants.
