이 논문의 목적은 슬라보이 지젝의 기독교에 대한 관점과 이해를 바탕으로 기독교의 종교적 핵심과 그에 대한 비판의 내용을 해명하는 것이다. 지젝에 따르면 기독교성의 철학적 핵심은 내재적 초월이 어떻게 가능한가를 보여주는 사유형식이다. 그런데 오늘날의 기독교는 그러한 기독교성의 사유와 신앙을 불가능하게 하는 도착적 신앙과 사유형식으로 타락해 가고 있다. 사라진 대타자의 자리를 자본과 소비로 채우는 현대 사회에서 기독교의 근본적인 신앙심과 종교성을 되살리기 위해서는 예배 의례로 고착화(固着化)되고 형해화(形骸化)된 기존의 기독교를 ‘생성-중인-기독교’로 재구성해야 한다는 것이다. 이는 곧 도착적 주체의 신앙에서 기독교적 주체의 신앙으로의 전환을 의미한다. 기독교적 주체의 신앙은 기존의 사회질서의 이데올로기적 환상들에 사로잡혀 자신을 사회구조의 충실한 받침대로 삼는 도착적 주체의 신앙방식에서 벗어나, 사랑의 성령이라는 실재를 만나서 사랑의 주체로 거듭남으로써 사랑의 삶과 공동체를 만들어 나가는 존재방식을 지향하게 된다.

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the points of Christianity as a religion and critiques on it, with the perspective based on Slavoj Žižek and understanding of Christianity of him. According to Žižek, the philosophical core of Christianity is a form of thinking that shows how intrinsic transcendence is possible. Today, however, Christianity is deviating from the right way into faith and thought perverted that makes impossible to think and be deeply religious. In order to revive the fundamental faith and Christianity as a religion in modern society, in which filled with capitalism and consumption, it is necessary to reconstitute existing Christianity, which is fixed and shaped as a ritual of worship, as “Becoming-in-Christianity.” This means the transition from the faith of a perverse subject to the faith of a christian subject. The faith of the Christian subject aspires toward way of existing to make life and community in love by reviving as a subject of love after meeting with the real in the name of the Holy Sprit so called love. It can be happened after getting rid of way from a faith of perverse subject, which makes him/herself supporter of social structure by being seized by ideological fantasy of old social order.
