최근 유니버설 디자인에 의한 전자제품 디자인에 관한 연구와 관심이 더욱더 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그리고 산업체에서도 유니버설 디자인 시스템을 활용한 디자인 전략 체계가 가속화하고 있다. 유니버설 디자인은 유럽에서 사용되고 있는 ｢Design for All(모든 사람을 위한 디자인)｣이나｢Inclusive Design(포괄적 디자인)｣이라는 뜻과 같다고 보지만, 다른 측면으로 ｢모든 사람을 위해 설계된 디자인｣이라고 말할 수도 있다. 따라서 노트북의 용도는 다양해 지면서 남녀노소 누구에게 필수품이라 할 수 있다. 그리고 노트북 사용 방법에 따른 변화와 안전 및 보안 관리에 관한 연구가 너무나 활발해 지고 있다. 특히 유니버설 디자인을 적용함으로써 보다 사용이 편리하고 언제 어디서나 누구에게나 쉽게 사용될 수 있는 새로운 시스템을 연구하는 데 목적을 둔다. 디자인 프로세스 전 과정은 유니버설 디자인(UD) 시스템을 도입하여 새롭고 혁신적인 노트북 디자인을 실제 사례를 들어 연구하였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통하여 학계와 산업체에 유니버설 디자인 시스템이 실생 활 제품에 어떻게 적용되고 활용되는지를 연구한다. 또한, 이 연구는 노트북 디자인을 지속해서 연구하고 향후 노트북 디자인 시장에 선도적인 신개념의 디자인을 제공하도록 한다.

Recently, The research and attention about electronic product Design is proceeding more and more by universal design. Also, Design strategies system is accelerating by using universal design system in industry. Universal design is seen as having the same meaning as ｢design for all｣ or ｢inclusive design｣ used in Europe, but other side can also be interpreted as ｢design planned for all｣. Therefore, the use of laptops is becoming more diverse and it is must item for both men and women. Then, the research on change, safety and security management is becoming too active by how to use a laptop. Particularly, the aim of this study is the research of new system more convenient to use, easier to use to anyone at any time by applying a universal design. Total the design process was studied a new and innovative notebook design that using real-world examples by the introduction of a Universal Design(UD) System. Therefore, this study was researched the universal design system for the academia and industry that how it is applied and used in real-life products through this study. Also, this study continues to study notebook design and provide the leading new design concepts to the laptop design market in the future.
