이 연구는 아유르베다 유형 검사지의 개발과 타당화에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 아유르베다 전문가 5인이 모여 아유르베다 유형 검사의 문항을 추출하여 신체 36문항과 심리 21문항 총 57문항을 최종 선정하였다. 1차 연구로 고ž대ž일반인 총 769명을 대상으로 아유르베다 유형 검사를 실시하고, 아유르베다 전문가들로부터 유형에 대한 판정을 받았다. 2차 연구는 random sampling을 위해서 리서치 전문 기관에 의뢰한 성인 2000명과 학교에 의뢰한 고등학생 428명, 1차 연구대상자 등 총 3,197명을 대상으로 개인별 빈도들의 평균과 표준 편차를 구하고 Z점수로 전환하였다. 타당도 검증을 위해 1차 설문결과 유형과 전문가가 판단한 유형에 대한 일치도인 까파(kappa)계수를 구했는데 .756로 유의미하게 일치한다고 할 수 있었다. 신뢰도를 산출하기 위하여 분할계수(O: Contingency Coefficient)를 통해서 신체 문항과 심리 문항 간의 상관성을 구했는데 신체V와 심리V 간의 분할 계수는 .760, 신체P와 심리P는 .713, 신체K와 심리K는 .765로 신체문항과 심리 문항간의 상관이 높았다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과 아유르베다 유형 검사지가 신뢰도와 타당도가 높아서 아유르베다 연구와 상담, 치유 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This research is regarding the development and validation of Ayurveda test. For this research, five experts have gathered to extract questions from the Ayurveda test, which resulted in a total of 57 questions – 36 physical and 21 psychological questions. For the primary analysis, 769 respondents were tested and validated according to the Ayurveda experts. For the secondary analysis, a total of 3,197 respondents including those from the primary analysis, 2,000 adults, and 428 high school students, were recruited via research institute for random sampling purposes. Respondents’ average test scores and standard deviations were calculated in order to obtain z-scores. To test for validity, the results of the primary analysis and experts’ analysis were compared. The resulting Kappa coefficient was .756 and significant. Regarding reliability, contingency coefficient was utilized to observe correlation between physical and psychological test questions. The contingency coefficient between physical v and psychological v was .760, between physical p and psychological p was .713, and between physical k and psychological k was .765, which indicated overall strong correlation. The high validity and reliability suggest practical application of Ayurveda test for research, counseling and healing.
