This is in line with Burke and Kant's sublime concept, which Burke emphasizes fear and delight, and Longinus explains the sublime centering around soul-shaking surprises and maddening delights. Bradley emphasizes the wide range of emotions, noting that sublime causes fear, maddening joy, awe, and even self-deprecation. The unity of heaven and the sublime involves the will to unify divinity and humanity, which is an aesthetic experience embodied through a sense of unity with nature. It explains that humans feel a desire to transcend reality by uniting with nature and embody it as sublime beauty through imagination. It is an argument that the Eastern and Western sublime is not limited to a specific culture but should be recognized as a universal experience of human existence. In particular, the sublime of totem art starts from a primitive way of thinking, which emphasizes the unknown power of nature rather than human power. The study of the sublime meaning expands to self-reflection and perception of existence through the existing confusion and consciousness of limitation about knowing, and explains that this reflection can lead to coexistence, consideration, and reflection with others. The sublime is also an important category that makes you think about the meaning of the invisible and the unexpressed.
