        In this study two kinds of cases were selected in order to develop roadway system. Specifically two boundary conditions were considered with varying support offset. In each case, relatively loading Dead load, Live load, Temperature load, displacement and reaction force were analyzed at the end of slab. As a result, this study performed optimization review of roadway connection.

        Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcing bars for concrete structure, as a non-corrosive material, has been extensively investigated by many researchers. However, it has not been practically used as the reinforcement or structural material in civil engineering structures due to its low elastic modulus if glass fibers were used. This study was motivated to overcome this shortcoming of FRP bars to be used for concrete structures. Material hybridization was applied to enhance its elastic modulus. The effect of material hybridization was evaluated by comparing the results of tensile test with those of non-hybrid FRP bars.

        This paper presents design concept as well as trial products to develop hybrid reinforcing polymer bars. The objective of this study is to develop a viable hybrid FRP bar for concrete structures, especially for marine and waterfront concrete structures. Three different types of hybrid FRP bar were considered in the development. Using E-glass fibers, unsaturated polyester resins, and conventional steel bar, hybrid GFRP bar samples of 9 mm and 13 mm in diameter were fabricated as the trial products. The results obtained in the pultrusion process of the trial products are discussed in this paper

        This paper presents tensile behavior of hybrid reinforcing polymer bars. The objective of this study is to evaluate the behavior change of hybrid FRP bar according to the volume fraction and position of fibers. Considered FRP bar had 13 mm in diameter and fibers of it were glass and steel fiber. The results obtained in the FEM analysis are discussed in this paper.

        In this paper, a finite element analysis to design hybrid reinforcing polymer bars was presented. Two different types of hybrid FRP bar were considered in finite element modeling. To offer the necessity and validity of finite element modeling for the hybrid reinforcing polymer bars, shape and material properties were assumed. Input conditions for analyzing the hybrid reinforcing polymer bars using FEM were verified. Using the results of the finite element analysis, the hybrid reinforcing polymer bars were optimally designed and the results are presented in this paper..

        FRP hybrid bar, a type of the reinforcing bar, is combined with the FRP or steel core and FRP cover. FRP braided hybrid bar is a type of the FRP hybrid bar having the FRP braid as FRP cover. To estimate the axial behavior of FRP braided hybrid bar, the behavior of FRP braid in axial direction of the bar should be calculated. In this paper, to estimate the stiffness of FRP braid in axial direction of the bar, the approximate analytical solution was proposed.

        This paper presents the results of researches to developing the precast modular bridges. Procedures to decide types of bridges, results of the optimizations to minimize the cross sectional areas, concepts of joints between modules, and the results of the experimental tests to evaluate the performance of joints are presented in this paper. It is expected that the precast modular bridges may be the effective alternatives to rapidly replace deteriorated bridges and damaged bridges by disasters.

        To evaluate the seismic performance of CFFT pier reinforced by FRP, quasi-static loading tests have been conducted using the real-scaled specimens in this study. The cast in placed CFFT specimen and the precast CFFT specimens were used in these tests. From the results of the tests, it is observed that the ultimate deformation and the ductility can be improved by FRP reinforcement though the hoop reinforcement is minimized.

        본 연구에서는 급속시공을 위한 단지간의 슬래브 형식의 프리캐스트 모듈러교량의 종방향 연결부 상세를 제안하고자 한다. 슬래브 형식의 프리캐스트 모듈러교량은 횡방향으로 분절되어 제작되므로, 분절된 프리캐스트 모듈 사이에는 종방향의 연결부가 형성된다. 이에, 종방향 연결부의 형상과 제원을 결정하기 위해 전단키 개수, 폭, 높이, 경사각, 연결부 폭을 변수로 선정하여 해석적 연구와 실험적 연구를 함께 수행하였다. 결과 분석을 위해서 연결부에 초기 균열이 발생하는 균열하중에 대한 경향을 검토하였으며, 종방향 연결부의 효율성을 평가하기 위해 효율계수(efficiency factor)를 제안하였다. 해석 및 실험에서 얻어진 균열하중과 본 연구에서 제안된 효율계수를 이용하여 연결부의 형상 및 제원을 결정하였다.

        This paper presents the results of a life-cycle cost (LCC) analysis to select an efficient maintenance action for a deteriorated waterfront structure. Three different maintenance actions, a routine maintenance and two types of rehabilitation methods, were assumed and the corresponding the LCCs were calculated using a LC activity profile. The results of the analysis indicate that the LCC analysis can be effectively used to examine the maintenance alternative actions during the decision making process.

        The shell of form-finding is most important in design procedure of the cooling tower, because the shape of the shell determines the sensitivity of dynamic behavior of the whole tower against wind excitation. The purpose of the study is the investigation of the influences of the geometric parameters of the cooling tower shell on the structural behavior. As a result, a hyperbolic rotational shell with the small radius overall will yield the shell geometry with a higher first natural frequency and thus a wind-insensitive structure. Linearly and nonlinearly numerical analysis are demonstrated influence of the shell-geometric parameters on structural behaviours. The results of this study may be informative for the form-finding of the cooling tower shell.

        한국 유통산업이 무한 경쟁에 박차를 가하고 있다. 저성장시대 를 맞으면서 각 소매업태간의 경쟁 중에 힘이 약한 자는 생존의 문제에 직결되기 마련이다. 근 수년간 대형할인마트가 매년 꾸준 한 성장세를 보여 왔다. 그러나 점포수의 포화, 신규부지 확보의 어려움, 불경기로 인한 소비자의 소비행태 변화 등의 이유로 고객 밀착형의 새로운 업태의 진출을 모색하게 되었다. 이에 따라 최근 대기업은 대기업 계열 기업형 슈퍼마켓을 만들었고 전통시장 상권 에 따라서 대형유통업체의 막강한 바잉파워를 배경으로 SSM이라 는 신업태에 역량을 집중하여 전국적 다점포화를 공격적으로 전개 해 왔다. 이러한 출점은 지역사회에 기반을 둔 중소유통 그중에서 도 일정규모이상의 개인 슈퍼마켓에 직격탄을 날리고 있다. 개인 슈퍼마켓과 소매상인들은 낡은 판매시설과 기존 운영방식으로 인 하여 사업의 경쟁력을 잃어가고 있다. 최근 대기업 계열 기업형 슈퍼마켓의 전통시장 상권에 대하여 언론, 학계, 업계 등에서 매우 논란이 많고 이와 관련된 세미나와 공청회도 많이 열리고 있다. 이에 따른 규제로 출점 속도를 늦출 수는 있으나 결정적 대안은 아닐 것이다. 기업형 SSM이 최근 급증하는 이유는 정체로 접어든 오프라인 할인마트 업체들의 새로운 성장분야를 찾기 위한 목적이 크다. 이미 대형할인마트 형태로는 전국 대부분의 지리적 요지에 다 입점해 있어 포화상태에 이르렀기 때문이다. 할인마트로 커버 하지 못하는 소규모 상권을 공략하기 위해서는 SSM 형태의 사업 이 확대가 절실하다. 이에 반하여 개인 슈퍼마켓은 경쟁력을 잃어 간다. 개인 슈퍼마켓의 취약점은 가격적인 면에서 규모의 경제를 실현 할 수 없기에 소량으로 판매 물건을 구입하고 있으며, 이로 인해 구입단가 할인이 어려운 상황이다. 또한 조직화 및 협업화가 부진하고 상인교육이 활성화 되지 못한 부분이 서비스로 직결되기 때문에 힘든 상황이다. 이에 따른 해결책으로 농산물, 청과, 공산 품 등의 전문점을 만들어 상권을 형성하는 방법이 있다. 둘째, 개 인 슈퍼마켓의 가맹점 가입 추진을 통한 조직화. 협업화를 촉진하 여 규모의 경제를 취득함과 동시에 정부에 제안 할 수 있는 하나 의 기업형태가 되는 것이다. 셋째, 중소상인 교육의 활성화로 서비 스 의식을 고취하고 좋은 서비스로 소비자를 모아야 한다는 점이 다. 또한 SSM에서 할 수 없는 심리적 점포 운영으로 소비자의 심 리를 자극 하는 것도 하나의 방법이 될 것이다. 일본에는 이미 전 일식 체인으로 소상공인들의 생활이 한편 나아졌다. 이에 개인슈 퍼마켓을 비롯한 중소유통점들의 취약 부분을 알아보고 경쟁력 강 화 방안에 대해 자세히 제안하고자 한다
