        VR 수술 시스템의 도입은 현대 의학 교육에 큰 의미가 있다. VR 수술 시스템은 의대생과 젊은 의사의 학습 효율을 크게 향상시키고 반복 훈련 목표를 달성하며 전통 의학 교육의 단점을 보완할 수 있다. 사회적 디지 털화가 심화됨에 따라 의료 분야의 VR 수술 시스템 구축이 시급해지고 있다. 본 논문은 의료에 적용되는 기능성 게임의 관점에서 VR 수술의 기능성게임 디자인을 연구한다. 먼저 사용자 경험 이론과 사용자 심리적 필요사항을 바탕으로 기능성 게임에 대한 사용자 경험과 기대치를 분석하였다. 그리고 사용자의 실제 필요사항과 게임 레벨 기능 디자인을 분석하고, 게임 디자인의 핵심 포인트를 강조하여 최적화하였다. 둘째, 3D MAX를 결합한 UE4 모델 구성의 주의할 점을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 위 연구를 바탕으로 흉강경 하에서 폐기포 VR 수술의 본격적인 게임을 설계하였다. 게임 디자인은 대상 사용자를 분석하여 내용을 결정한 후 이를 전문의에게 확인하여 이루어졌다. 첫째, 인간 가슴의 얇은 CT 이미지를 기반으로 3DS MAX를 이용 하여 가슴 모델, 수술 도구 및 수술 장면을 시뮬레이션 하였다. 둘째, UE4 게임 엔진을 사용하였다. 이 기술 은 3D 모델이 기능성 게임 시뮬레이션의 요구 사항을 충족하도록 만들고 UE4 장면을 디자인하며 C ++ 언 어를 사용하여 게임 기능을 개발하였다.

        There is no doubt that formal schooling has and still plays the role of almost a solitary agent of education in society. However, as time goes on, the question of formal schooling's adequacy in achieving 'true' education in modernity is increasingly being raised. Arguably, formal schooling looks to entertain conformity, social classification, psychological threats, and limits the skills development of learners. Therefore, there must be an alternative education model which creates more channels for learning so that society is no longer confined to the systems of formal schooling. In search of alternatives, deschooling society is becoming viable in today's education. This study aims to examine the understanding of Illich's deschooling society by scholars in the 21st century. The authors analyzed 23 articles related to Illich’s ideas published from 2000 to December 2020. Qualitative content analysis was used to analyze the texts and provide interpretations from the reviewed articles. The findings reveal that current scholars view deschooling society as a critical pedagogy that offers alternative learning opportunities to the learners. They argue that more education could be provided through newborn innovations such as flexible-learning in the open community, home-sch ol, work-based learning, the free choice of courses, open educational resources (OER), and massive open online courses (MOOC). On top of that, the openness of science in digital platforms or its pervasiveness in which it is organized in the modern community would most likely widen learning opportunities for the learners. These innovations are useful in transforming from the current formal education which has no bearing on the quality of education provided to the learners. This study calls for more academic researches and discussion on finding suitable ways for adopting Illich's ideas in modern society.

        Considering critical roles of teachers in education, an increasing number of studies have investigated language teacher identity. Although many studies have reported nonnative English-speaking teachers’ identity, few studies have explored native English-speaking teachers’ (NESTs’) professional identity. Taking poststructural approaches towards identity, the present study investigated how two NESTs working in Korean universities perceived themselves professionally and how their identities were realized in class. Data were collected through interviews, class observations, and material collections. Findings showed that the NESTs constructed multiple identities differently shaped by various factors, such as previous experiences and college majors. One NEST had identities of a role model for foreign language learning and a caretaker, while the other showed weak identities as a teacher with identities of a writer and a babysitter. Despite such differences, the NESTs commonly manifested an overarching identity as a guide who desired to create safe and comfortable learning environments. These findings confirm close connections between teachers’ professional identity and practices.

        본 연구는 고밀도폴리에틸렌 코편을 마스크에 적용 후 MRI 검사에 사용하여 SNR의 변화를 측정하고 만족도를 평가하였다. 연구 방법은 팬텀을 이용하여 HDPE 마스크 적용 전 후의 SNR 측정과 KF 94 마스크 적용 전 후의 SNR 측정을 하였고, 사용한 기법은 T1WI, T2WI, DWI였다. 또한 HDPE 마스크 착용군의 T2 mDixon, 3D T1영상 획득 후 안와와 교뇌의 SNR을 측정하였고, 설문을 통하여 MRI 검사 시 답답함 정도와 호흡의 용이성, HDPE 마스크의 선호도 평가를 하였다. 팬텀 실험 결과 HDPE 마스크 사용 전과 후의 SNR은 유의한 차이가 없었으며(p>0.05), KF 94 마스크는 적용 전 값과 유의한 차이가 있었다(p<0.05). HDPE 마스크 착용군의 SNR 측정 결과에서는 미착용군과 유의한 차이는 없었다(p>0.05). 마스크 착용 후 답답한 정도 측정 결과 착용군은 3.53 ± 0.73, 미착용군은 3.83 ± 0.75이었고, 호흡의 용이성 측정 결과 HDPE 마스크 착용군은 3.1 ± 0.89, 미착용군은 3.27 ± 0.91으로 나타났고, 두 조사 결과 모두 유의한 차이는 없었다(p>0.05). HDPE 마스크의 선호도는 4.48 ± 0.54으로 선호도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 HDPE 마스크는 착용 후에도 MRI 영상의 신호 변화 없이 정확한 검사가 가능하고 환자의 만족도 또한 높게 평가되었기에 검사 중 호흡기 감염 예방을 위해 적극적으로 사용되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

        In this paper a new textbook series published by The National Institute of Korean Language in 2019 is analyzed for its three shortcomings in promoting gender equality and inclusiveness. First, the new textbook series are still assuming that women are the primary caretakers of the house and children. Second, the series questionably address people’s appearances in the text, in forms such as fat-shaming. Lastly, the new textbook series engage in trying to normalize Koreanness. An interview with a marriage immigrant was conducted to give insight about if these aspects are truly problematic in a perspective of the marriage immigrant.

        It is highly challenging to measure the efficiency of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs) because factors affecting operational characteristics of EVCSs are time-varying in practice. For the efficiency measurement, environmental factors around the EVCSs can be considered because such factors affect charging behaviors of electric vehicle drivers, resulting in variations of accessibility and attractiveness for the EVCSs. Considering dynamics of the factors, this paper examines the technical efficiency of 622 electric vehicle charging stations in Seoul using data envelopment analysis (DEA). The DEA is formulated as a multi-period output-oriented constant return to scale model. Five inputs including floating population, number of nearby EVCSs, average distance of nearby EVCSs, traffic volume and traffic congestion are considered and the charging frequency of EVCSs is used as the output. The result of efficiency measurement shows that not many EVCSs has most of charging demand at certain periods of time, while the others are facing with anemic charging demand. Tobit regression analyses show that the traffic congestion negatively affects the efficiency of EVCSs, while the traffic volume and the number of nearby EVCSs are positive factors improving the efficiency around EVCSs. We draw some notable characteristics of efficient EVCSs by comparing means of the inputs related to the groups classified by K-means clustering algorithm. This analysis presents that efficient EVCSs can be generally characterized with the high number of nearby EVCSs and low level of the traffic congestion.

        Teacher professional development is critical because teachers play a pivotal role in students' positive learning experience in schools. In particular, teachers' systematic class goal-setting practice is important for their performance outcomes such as effective classroom management and student learning. This study investigates the effects of teachers' engagement in class goal-setting activities using strategies derived from Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) framework as a systematic guideline by exploring the relationship among the four variables: teachers' class goal-setting, their partnership with stakeholders, teacher effectiveness, and student satisfaction. By using Process analysis techniques to estimate the dual mediation model on data from 55 elementary school teachers and their 1790 students, the findings indicate the positive relationship between teachers' systematic efforts for their class goal setting and student satisfaction was fully and sequentially mediated by teachers' partnership activities with the stakeholders and perceived teacher effectiveness. The findings propose the importance of teachers' systematic goal-setting strategies in their classes, which can be developed for professional development opportunities leading to successful performance outcomes. The study also highlights the various indirect effects produced by teachers' engagement in class goal setting. The practical implications of the research as well as theoretical contributions for teachers are discussed.
