        거제도의 인근도서 지심도, 내도, 윤돌도 식물상 조사는 2004년 3월, 6월, 8월 총 3번에 걸쳐 식물상을 조사하였다. 본 조사 결과 관속식물은 지심도 64과 114속 121종 10변종 131분류군, 내도 53과 79속 5변종 81분류군, 윤돌도 14과 15속 15종 1변종 16분류군으로 총 72과 140속 149종 14변종 1품종 164분류군이 동정하였다. 멸종위기식물은 관찰되지 않았으나, 한국특산식물은 거제딸기, 섬쥐똥나무 등 2과 2속 1종 1변종 총 2분류군이 확인되었다. 식물구계학적 특정식물은 가는쇠고사리, 섬쥐똥나무, 나도생강, 털머위, 생달나무, 센달나무, 남오미자, 멀꿀, 팔손이 등을 포함 25과 33속 36종 2변종 38분류군이 관찰되었다. 그 외에 귀화식물은 소리쟁이, 자리공, 토끼풀, 까마중, 선개불알풀, 주홍서나물, 개망초, 별꽃아재비등 6과 10속 10종으로 우리나라 전체 귀화식물종 284종에 대한 도시화지수(U.I) 및 귀화율은 3.52%와 6.1%이다. 조사지역은 장승포와 옥포 등 가까운 거리에 있고 자연경관이 뛰어나 방문객의 수가 갈수록 급증할 것으로 예상되어 귀화식물의 종류와 수는 앞으로 더욱더 늘어날 것으로 전망된다. 또한 낚시터로 많은 사람들의 출입이 빈번한 곳이다. 이에 따른 식생이 파괴될 위험이 크므로 조사지역의 상록활엽수림에 대한 보존대책이 요망된다.

        갈변과 미생물 증식으로 인해 저하되는 양상추의 품질을 향상시키기 위해 양상추를 최소처리하여 이들 품질저하요인을 제어하고자 하였다. 갈변억제방법으로는 다양한 침지수에 따른 화학적인 방법을 사용하였고, 미생물 증식억제방법으로는 염소처리법과 전기분해수 그리고 유기산 처리에 의한 방법을 사용하였다. 그 결과 양상추의 갈변은 색도에 있어서 ascorbic acid 1와 citric acid 1 혼합침지수로 처리하였을 때 초기 L 값이 5 수준에서 유의적으

        Fruit-discharge type of forty species of Asian Geranium were examined and their evolutionary trends and taxonomic system were discussed. Two main types of seed discharge in Geranium are made the basis of its divison into subgenera: Geranium subgenus Geranium, with a ballistic expulsion of the seed from mericarp, Geranium subgenus Robertium, with forcible discharge of the mericarp with the seed in it, seperately from the awn. Variants of the seed ejecting type permit the division of Geranium subgenus Geranium into three sections. Section Geranium, these has bristles at the base of the mericarp for prevent the seed from dropping from the divergent mericarp. Section Dissect, these has prongs at the base of the mericarp for prevent the seed from dropping from the divergent mericarp. Section Tuberosa, these has no bristles and prongs at the base of the mericarp, instead, retained of seed in pre-explosive interval by twist. Geranium subgenus Robertium was divided into two sections, Section Ruberta, with deeply wrinkled on the surface of mericarp at the time of discharge. Section Batrachioides, and section Trilopha, without wrinkle on the surface of mericarp at the time of discharge. According to the seed discharge, subgenus Geranium is thought to be more advanced than subgenus Robertium.

        Vegetative characters (e.g. habitat, root, ramification and habit of stem, phyllotaxy, leaf sape, shape of leaf margin, shape of division and lobe of division, number of division, thick and texture of leaf and shape of stipule) on 35 species of Asian Geranium were reviewed to discussion propriety of taxonomic character and evolutionary trends. Wilfordii group is characterized by three divided leaf, Farreri group was grown a high altitude, and Maculatum group is grouped by life cycle of anneal. Arrangement state of leaf is alternate type G, tripartitum, G. eriostemon, and G. erianthum is thought the more primitive than the other taxon, and regarded as more advanced group the sibiricum group and pseudosibiricum group which divided of leaf deeply. Shape of leaf, division degree of lobes, shape of leaf margin and number of division are considered a good identification characters because width of change are fixed between population.

        Tonggo-san(1066.5m) is located at 36° 53' 00" - 36" 55' 00" in latitude, at 129° 10' 30" - 129° 13' 00" in longitude and on Seo-myeon, Uljin-gun and Subi-myeon, Yeongyang-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Tonggo-san shows the typical vegetation patterns including the middle area of temperate region of Korea represented by the secondary forests of Quercus mongolica and Q. dentata. There was no detailed result on the flora and vegetation of Tonggo-san until now. Therefore, we tried to discuss on the distribution and availability of vascular plants including economical plants. Also, we could discuss the especialized plants and their distributions according to the criteria by the Ministry of Environment. The results of plant collection and their investigation from April in 2001 to November in 2001 are as follows : The vascular plants consist of total 565 taxa; 17 forms, 82 varieties, 466 species, 297 genera, 94 families,37 orders, 4 classes, 2 subphyla. In this area, there were a lot of useful economic plants such as 232 taxa(41%) of edible source, 222 taxa(39%) of forage source, 183 taxa(32%) of medicinal source, and 72 taxa(12%) of ornamental source, 15 taxa(2.6%) timber source, 7 taxa(1.2%) industrial raw material source respectively. Among them, the Korean endemic plants were 22 taxa(3.9% among total 565 taxa); 1 forms, 2 varieties, 19 species, 22 genera, 16 families. And rare and endangered plants was 1 taxa; Astragatus membranaceus. Also, the naturalized plants were 19 taxa(3.4% among total 565 taxa and 10.4% among the total naturalized plants in Korea).
